Once again the team at Mike Toler Ram Jeep have been amazing. KC and Mr. Toler took care of my deal yesterday and made me feel like family. Great discounts and incentives helped me move out of my jeep and back into a Bighorn 1500. The truck checks all the boxes and then some! I don't even know where to start...I have a 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee limited (diesel) that I had towed to them because it was having power issues. They diagnosed and said they thought the turbo needed replaced because the bolts sheared off, but they really couldn't tell for sure. Told me it would be $1,800 to tear it down to verify. They also quoted me $9,600 for the turbo replacement if it was needed and they thought it was. I wasn't about to spend that amount on a $10,000 vehicle and told them my cap would be be $6,000. They then said that maybe they could weld it and it would be much cheaper, but they weren't sure. Well, instead I paid their $218 "diagnostic fee" and arranged to have it towed to a diesel shop in Swansboro for $186. NOT EVEN THREE HOURS LATER VINNIE CALLED AND SAID IT WAS FIXED, $275 OUT THE DOOR!!! He put a scope down and in the turbo and saw that someone has messed with it before and used too short of bolts and they backed out. He put the OEM size bolts in, and it is running great. I paid a $218 diagnostic fee to Toler that didn't diagnose anything. I probably heard "Master Techs" 10 times while dealing with the service department on the phone. If as many "Master Techs" looked at the vehicle as they said, and not one of them put a tool down in to actually look for an issue, I question the validity of calling them "Master Techs". If I could give a lower than 1 star rating I would. I am not sure how their sales department is, but I can tell you that I will never have another vehicle taken to their service department.
