MINI Markham

I recently had my MINI serviced, and the entire experience was smooth and hassle-free. Michael was especially helpful—he kept me informed throughout the process and made sure I understood everything that was being done. There was an issue with my coolant system leaking, but it was identified and repaired. The repair was covered under my extended warranty, which made the whole experience even better. Overall, great service, clear communication, and a very professional team.

Even though I had booked an appointment in advance, nobody was available to properly assist or guide me when I arrived. The customer service experience felt extremely unwelcoming and unprofessional. I was polite and respectful throughout the interaction, but unfortunately received very little attention or care in return. Overall, it genuinely felt like customer service was selective and not equally provided to everyone. I would not recommend this dealership based on my experience.

I bought my pre-owned MINI in 2025 May, and I usually don’t write negative reviews, but after being misled for couple times by MINI Markham, I feel compelled to warn other buyers. While the car itself is great, the buying and service process has been deeply inconsistent. 1. I originally booked a test drive for an orange MINI. Upon arrival, I was told it had been sold just 30 minutes prior. A few days later, the salesperson called me saying the deal fell through and the car was available again. To avoid another wasted trip, I called 30 minutes before my appointment to confirm. Yet, when I arrived, I was told for the second time that the car was sold. I ended up settling for a different model just to end the ordeal. 2. On delivery day, my contract stated I should receive two keys. However, I was only given one and was asked to sign the delivery documents first, with a promise that the second key would be provided later. After chasing them for weeks, the salesperson suggested that I can wait a month and claim a free replacement through my "Key Protection" insurance plan. (since I have a 4-year key protection plan.) I found this suggestion highly unprofessional. 3. When I purchased the car in May 2025, the salesperson explicitly told me the "Service Inclusive" (no-charge maintenance) was valid until February 2026 and even reminded me to book a service before then. Last week, I brought the car in for an oil change, only to be told by the service department that the plan had already expired in 2025. I was then quoted $271 + tax for a basic oil change that I was led to believe would be covered. **Stay far away from this dealership.**

Lily from Mini/BMW Markham helped us purchase our mini countryman and she gave us the best price and was so kind and helpful. She answered every question we had patiently and she always replied to our emails and calls. We had a wonderful experience with her.

I recently bought my 2015 Mini Cooper from a dealership in Toronto in September and had no idea what had been done to it in terms of service. So, as my service approached this month, I brought it to the Mini Cooper and BMW dealership located in Markham. Jonathan, my service consultant, was very helpful, knowledgeable and great at communicating. They also replaced my headlights, fog lights and parking lamps which were non OEM from the previous owner that had created some problems but was quickly resolved and looks amazing. I’m also grateful they cleaned the outside of my car so it was shiny and clean. Thank you Mini Cooper and BMW Markham!
