I normally don’t like leaving negative reviews because I understand how important reviews are to businesses. I run a service business myself, and we work hard every day to put customer service first. Unfortunately, my experience with Mitch Smith Chevrolet was very disappointing. The main reason I purchased my vehicle from them was the warranty that was presented during the sale. The vehicle has higher mileage, and I made it very clear to the salesperson that the warranty coverage was a major factor in my decision to move forward with the purchase. After the sale, I discovered that the warranty I received was not what I believed I was being sold. The issue became very real when a repair came up that costs approximately $3,900 according to the warranty company. Unfortunately, the repair is not covered under the warranty that was sold with the vehicle. I raised the concern with the dealership and had several discussions trying to resolve the situation. I was told a manager would contact me, but that follow-up never happened. The only resolution eventually offered was to refund the remaining value of the warranty. However, that doesn’t actually solve the problem because the warranty was financed with the vehicle and was the main reason I felt comfortable purchasing a higher-mileage car in the first place. Accepting that would essentially leave me with no warranty at all. What’s frustrating is that Chevrolet as a brand promotes values like integrity, accountability, and standing behind their products. I’m actually a longtime Chevrolet supporter — I currently own seven Chevrolet vehicles, including one that cost over $100,000. I’m a fan of the brand, which makes this situation even more disappointing. Maybe this dealership needs better training, or maybe corporate Chevrolet should be more involved in making sure customers are getting exactly what is represented during the sales process. Either way, this experience did not reflect the level of professionalism or integrity I associate with the Chevrolet name. Because of this experience, I would not recommend this dealership and would not purchase a vehicle from them again.

Love going to Mitch Smith Chevrolet. Had our first great experience with Adam who helped us buy our car. Amazing man, great to talk to, and works with you very well. Then I recently had to get my car in for an oil change and some repairs and Corey helped me both times I had to come in and he was awesome! He even fixed a problem I didn’t even mention. The people here are very kind. They treat you like family, and very dependable. I will always come to them for buying and car services.
