My husband and I went in yesterday with low expectations that we would be able to leave with a new car, due to some hurdles we were for sure would prevent a purchase. However, JD Waller is a literal miracle worker. He is down to earth, understanding, easy to work with and passionate about what he does. He went above and beyond to ensure we left with what we wanted. We’re not even from the area, but drove an hour one way because a friend of ours told us about her good experience with him.. and it was so worth it. The buying process was made easy and as quick as possible. I couldn’t not recommend Modern Nissan Hickory and JD enough. Make sure if you go, you request him specifically!

Modern Nissan…. This is the ideal dealership. Sleek, clean, streamline and top notch customer service. I walked in, didn’t really know what I wanted. Fortunately I was approached my a knowledgeable salesman who took one look at me and said “I have the perfect car for you”. Sure I was skeptical, but when we took my now Nismo Z out for a test drive I knew I had been paired with my match made in heaven. Car has everything I wanted and more. Kids love it, guys want it and the ladies def want to go for a spin. I can’t thank my buddy Wilson enough for taking the time to listen to me and actually understanding my wants to help me find the perfect vehicle. If you’re shopping for a vehicle and want an amazing experience. Be sure to stop by Modern Nissan. Tell them you came to speak to Wilson and no one else. He’s vetted in the business and will land you the best deal with his finance team. Wilson was so amazing that he even sent me a gift a couple weeks later just out of appreciation with a card stating that him and his team will support me and my Nissan however they can, and you know what, that make me feel more like family than some random customer. I apologize for the long winded review but this was just an amazing car buying experience and I just wanted to share my opinion for anyone that may be curious. I recently purchased a 2026 Nissan Murano from Modern Nissan of Hickory. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. They even offered me a great trade-in on my 2018 Murano, which made the deal even better. The salesman, Wilson Thao, was an exceptional person. He provided exceptional service from the moment I walked in until I drove out in my new car. If you have the opportunity to ask for Wilson, you won’t be disappointed with the quality of service and the excellent deal he can secure for you.

Came in not knowing what kind of car I wanted or what was in my price range. Wilson helped me find the right car for me. Told him what kind of car I thought I might like. Within 2 test drives, I found the right car for me. Low milage and right within my budget. Wilson was super helpful and a pretty cool guy to chat with. He gave me plenty of options and plenty of things to think about as I was making my decision. If you are looking for a car but not quite sure what you're looking for, this is the place to come.

They got me in last minute on a Saturday, exceptional service, friendly staff, good prices, terrific waiting area and they were pretty fast. My daughter also bought a brand new car here last year and the sales guy was great and not pushy or a jerk. I would definitely recommend this dealership!!
