# Summary This dealership receives praise for exceptional customer service from individual staff members who go above and beyond to assist customers, particularly in sales and service departments. However, negative reviews highlight significant concerns about vehicle inspection quality, accuracy of advertised features, warranty limitations, and follow-through on promised reimbursements for used vehicle purchases.

Salesman Daniel Mexico went above and beyond to help me locate the exact vehicle I wanted and get it there. Minor hiccup at the delivery was completely resolved by Sales Manager and General Managers. I would absolutely recommend Monroe Superstore and will use them again in the future!

NEVER DO BUSINESS HERE EDIT: After driving the vehicle for a month the transmission is still acting up. They should’ve allowed Baumann Ford to replace the transmission, and not forced me to move it to Brondes!! I visited Monroe Super Store on November 12, 2025, to buy a 2020 Ford F150. I fell in love with it and purchased it. Unfortunately, I started experiencing problems with it. On December 29, 2025, I took it to the shop. My initial shopping experience was positive. I spoke with Tynan Campbell, a top salesperson. He showed me a few vehicles, and I drove the Ford. I went through the financing process and drove it home. Within a mile, I noticed a bad vibration from the front end. I called Tynan, who assured me the vehicle was thoroughly inspected and passed. A few weeks later, I noticed the transmission was acting odd, and the brakes weren’t stopping well. I called the service department and explained the issues. They scheduled an appointment, but when I arrived, they couldn’t diagnose the problem because they’re not a Ford dealer. They told me I’d have to take it to a Ford dealer. I wasted over an hour of my time and $15 worth of fuel. I took my Ford F150 to a Ford dealer as instructed. They found a faulty transmission, bad rear brakes, and an undetermined oil leak. I had the vehicle for 47 days and driven 1,649 miles. I purchased an extended warranty for $4,650, but it only covers electrical issues like door locks, stereo, power windows, and moonroof. I informed Monroe Super Store of Baumann Ford’s findings and the warranty’s limitations. They told me I needed to take the truck to a different Ford dealer because they guarantee there’s nothing wrong with the transmission. Doug Taylor, the used car manager at Monroe, instructed me to take the vehicle to Brondes Ford on Secor Road in Toledo, OH. I told him I needed to pay for the diagnostic testing and vehicle inspection Baumann Ford performed to get the truck released. He said he didn’t want to run multiple claims through the pre-owned/pre-certified warranty and that I’d have to pay to get the truck released. He promised to reimburse me when I turned in the claim from Brondes. I paid $209.42 to have the vehicle released. Since the transmission problems persisted, I had the F150 towed to Brondes through my insurance company. The F150 arrived at Brondes on January 5, 2026. After a thorough inspection, they confirmed Baumann Ford’s findings and discovered a coolant leak. The vehicle was repaired promptly, but I couldn’t pick it up because Brondes was awaiting payment. The pre-owned/pre-certified warranty covered everything except the rear brakes. Doug from Monroe agreed to pay for them since the pads had only 3mm left and should’ve been caught during inspection. The warranty company will eventually pay its share. We waited for Doug to cover the brakes, and after a few phone calls and a couple of days, they were paid. The vehicle was returned on January 28, 2026. I was thrilled to get my truck back after a month of driving my old Explorer. It’s running great and looks as beautiful as ever. However, I realized I wasn’t reimbursed the $209.42 promised by Doug Taylor to release the vehicle from Baumann Ford. I called him to remind him, but he felt he’d already gone above and beyond. He thought paying for the brakes was enough and refused to reimburse me. I argued that if the vehicle had been inspected, the bad brakes, oil and coolant leaks, and possibly the transmission would’ve been caught. SUMMARY: - Tynan at Monroe Super Store is a great salesperson. If you decide to purchase a vehicle here, Tynan is your man. - The mechanics at Monroe Super Store are questionable. If buying a used car, have it inspected by your own mechanic first. - Understand the coverage details of any used car warranty. - Doug Taylor is dishonest. Ensure any promises are in writing.

BUYER BEWARE – MISLEADING & DISHONEST I purchased a van from Monroe Superstore and had a very disappointing experience working with Mark Lawrence. The vehicle was advertised with multiple features that either do not work or are not even installed: ❌ AC “works” – compressor is bad, no cooling ❌ “3000W inverter” – completely missing (only leftover wiring) ❌ Rear lift/power jack – not functional / not wired These were not small issues — these were major selling points listed for the van, and NONE of them checked out. Yes, I take responsibility for not double-checking everything before signing — I was focused on getting financing done and felt pressured during the process. But I trusted that a dealership like this would at least verify the basic features they advertise. That trust was clearly misplaced. ⚠️ This felt extremely misleading at best, dishonest at worst. ⚠️ Do NOT rely on their listing descriptions — verify EVERYTHING yourself. If you’re considering buying from here, inspect every detail before signing anything. Don’t make the same mistake I did.

My Jeep 4xe was at the dealership for the better part of the first few months of 2026 (keep reading). First I had a little accident and needed a new fender, then my battery failed the recall (got a new one) and later needed some minor service assistance post recall. The multiple people I worked with from making the appointment, the vehicle loan program (they ALWAYS had one available for me per my request), nice guys like Joe, Ray and Trent were very transparent about everything. I just moved to this area and I'm so grateful I have a dealer close to home I feel that I can count on. This Service Department provides excellent customer service.
