Both mine, and my husband’s, experience with Montgomery Ford Kincardine was bad enough to warn others. We booked a 9:30 a.m. Saturday appointment for an oil change and tire rotation on our F-350. Upon arrival, the service manager, Gord, immediately denied any record of the booking, despite our email confirmation in hand. Rather than apologizing for the dealership’s scheduling error, he became defensive and told us we would “just have to wait.” We stayed polite, went for breakfast, and returned later — only to be met with the same dismissive attitude. When our vehicle was finally returned, we were handed a generic service sheet and sent on our way. No discussion of the condition of the truck, no recommendations, and no basic courtesy such as a complimentary wash. The atmosphere was arrogant and unwelcoming — as if customers were an inconvenience. Days later, our oil-life monitor flashed 20%. A follow-up call confirmed what I suspected: the technician “forgot to reset it”. Their voicemail admitted this. If they can’t even complete the most elementary step of an oil change, it leaves serious doubts about what else they “forget.” Between the mismanaged appointment, lack of accountability, rudeness, and the lack of quality control, this dealership has made it clear that customer service is an afterthought. Save yourself the frustration and take your vehicle somewhere that still values honesty and professionalism.
