# Summary The dealership receives praise for its no-haggle pricing model, smooth purchase process, and courteous sales staff, but faces serious criticism regarding service department quality, including claims of incomplete tire services, vehicle damage during routine maintenance, and inadequate communication about mechanical issues with used vehicles. Multiple customers report feeling dismissed when raising concerns and express frustration with management accessibility and follow-up responsiveness.

I was visiting Alabama and needed an oil change, tire rotation, and wheel balance. Knowing the service would be due during my trip, I scheduled the appointment in advance. Upon arrival, the service advisor was courteous, professional, and very helpful. The dealership even accommodated me before my scheduled appointment time and completed the requested services promptly. Once the work was finished, my vehicle was brought around, I paid for the service, and left the dealership. While driving back to South Carolina on Saturday, I noticed that the front fender panels were no longer flush with the adjacent front door panels on either side of the vehicle. This is a 2026 model-year vehicle that has never been involved in an accident, and I am the original and only owner. After inspecting the vehicle more closely, I discovered buckling along the inner edges of both front fenders. Based on the location and nature of the damage, it appears the vehicle may not have been lifted properly while the requested services were being performed. I immediately contacted the dealership and spoke with Tony. I provided photographs documenting the damage. Tony was polite, professional, and advised that the service manager would contact me on Monday morning. The reason I cannot provide a positive rating at this time is because my vehicle was clearly undamaged when it arrived at the dealership, but it sustained damage while in their custody and care. I am hopeful the dealership will take responsibility for the issue and work toward a satisfactory resolution. I will provide an update once the matter has been addressed.

Coop was great to work with. I liked the no haggle business model. The overall process was smooth and pain free. Big thanks to the team for making sure we had a temp tag since the system was down for maintenance at the time of purchase. I love my new car. Overall great experience.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THIS DEALERSHIP! After dealing with them for years and being terribly disappointed I decided to get rid of my Cadillac Escalade altogether! Picked my Cadillac up after my service (oil change, replaced a bolt in my sway bar, rotate and balance) and took it to another dealership for a trade in quote only to be told there was a screw in my tire and threads showing. Mullinax did not even let me know any of these issues. There is no way to miss that when rotating and balancing tires! I was told by another professional that my tires were not even rotated! Yet I paid $280 just for them to rotate and balance my tires, not including the other things! The entire total was $775.68! When I called to ask about this I was told “they may have been rushing through the service because they are so busy”! Did they even rotate and balance my tires or do they just charge you and not do the work?! This isn’t my first issue with them. In the past they had to fix an issue in my fuse box and didn’t even bolt my passenger seat back down properly and messed up my glove box. The seat would move when the brake was pressed! I had to take my car to another dealership to have it fixed because I was told they couldn’t get me in for 5 months! A seat not bolted down properly is so dangerous! Just go somewhere else! I gave them plenty of time to make this right before even leaving this review! No phone call back in 7 days is unacceptable! I always feel like a bother every time I come in with a scheduled appointment. Since I know you like to argue with reviews I have receipts and pictures and my account is under my husband’s name Travis Colquett.

On July 18, 2025, we purchased a used vehicle from this dealership and were provided a 5-day warranty. On the 7th day, we contacted the dealership regarding noticeable transmission slipping. (The slight delay was due to my husband working 48-hour shifts as a firefighter and me caring for our baby.) We arranged time in our schedules to bring the vehicle in, but we were told that nothing was wrong with it. During the time the dealership had the vehicle, communication was extremely difficult. We called numerous times and were frequently placed on hold, only for the calls to be disconnected. The manager, Freddie, was especially difficult to reach to discuss the status of the vehicle. Approximately 10 days later, we returned the vehicle for a second inspection due to the same ongoing transmission issue. The dealership kept the vehicle for five days, which left our family with only one vehicle. This created a significant hardship given my husband’s 36–48 hour work shifts. During those five days, we again made multiple attempts to get updates but continued to experience difficulty reaching management. We were told the manager was not working, yet when we arrived in person, he was present. (We have screenshots of phone records and text messages documenting these interactions.) We were eventually given the vehicle back after five days, but the transmission was still slipping and jerking just as before. Afterward, we contacted the dealership that had serviced the vehicle prior to our purchase. They provided documentation from a May 2025 Carfax report indicating that the vehicle needed a transmission at that time. We specifically requested a Carfax report from Mullinax both before and after purchasing the vehicle, and the report we were given did not reflect this information. As of February 2026, we have had to move forward with replacing the transmission at our own expense. We strongly encourage anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from this dealership to conduct a thorough, independent background check on the vehicle beforehand. Unfortunately, this has been a very expensive and difficult lesson for our family.

Looking online for another vehicle. Found the vehicle that i was looking for. Contacted the dealership about availability and they said it was still available. A salesperson, Willie, Contacted me about it. I started an online loan application and the salesperson kept me updated about it. Called me and said that I was approved for the loan. The buying process was extremely easy and not stressful. No high pressure sales and no add on fees. What you see is what you pay. Great Dealership. I would highly recommend them for your next vehicle.
