# Summary The dealership's sales team receives consistent praise for professionalism, product knowledge, and customer-focused service, with multiple customers highlighting positive experiences with individual salespeople. However, the service department faces significant criticism regarding poor communication, mismanagement of vehicle maintenance tasks, lack of accountability for errors, and failure to follow through on commitments, which has substantially undermined customer satisfaction despite initial positive sales experiences.

Bought jetta 2025 from this dealership . During purchase they sell dreams ("Its all covered you have this warranty you have that warranty" even sales man coming with a set of keys on his tabel said I already have vw vehicles at home these are my keys and these are this that in terms of realibility , service and warranty) BUT in reaility within months the vehicle has two safety recalls already and also iam Experiencing transmission related issues hard shifting gears with click sound on slow speed (automatic transmission). Booked appointment went to this dealership for scheduled service and fix recall also requested them to check engine/transmission for this issue because this car is under warranty and has only 9k kilometers on it . People at service desk told me that it can take a day fir disgnose it . They said by the end of day they will update me and offered a uber ride to go home . I confirmed twice with him that 1 day means today evening , he said yes . Its been 3 days now no update they even haven't turn on my car yet( can see in app / vehicle status ). I called three times always sales department transfer my call to service but service people never answer. 3 days I am without car/ without work .Now another emergency is that my Newborn has health issue and have to go anytime for medical attention during day or night .But this dealership people thinks that they gave me ride to home and agree to pikup from home when car is ready resolved everything and they do not need to update customer and keep the vehicle undiagnosed as many days they wanted . Today I requested them to return the car atleast I can use it during emergancy and will get it fixed later from somewhare else but they said cannot do that as its under diagnose . But vehicle's last updated status is on thursday in my vw app after that even they haven't turned it on or move to the service area . Update:- They kept vehicle in there parking lot for 4 days and then after that when I called multiple times finally they did oil change $234 . No recall repair performed and no diagnose related to the click noise. And the wash they performed to car is already in pics .

Great experience on a new car purchase with Barrhaven VW. I had the pleasure of working with both Brandon Thomas and Peter Owen. Both fantastic guys on a personal and professional level. They made the whole process very smooth, effortless and we had fun in the process. They were both available via text/email during process and even after if any questions. Thanks so much fellas and all the best to both of you. Will make sure when by to drop by and say hello. Dave and Line Culbertson

I rarely leave reviews, but after two straight years of dealing with the service department at VW Myers Barrhaven, I can honestly say this has been one of the most frustrating and incompetent customer service experiences I’ve dealt with. What makes this even more disappointing is the fact that within a single year, I purchased THREE vehicles from this dealership — two brand new vehicles and one used vehicle. I gave VW Myers Barrhaven a significant amount of business because my initial experience on the sales side was genuinely positive. To be fair, Khaled in sales was excellent. He was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful throughout the purchasing process. Unfortunately, the quality of service after the sale has been the complete opposite. The tire swap and storage process has been an ongoing disaster for two consecutive years. Communication is consistently poor despite repeated assurances that it would improve. I specifically requested text confirmations for appointments multiple times and was repeatedly told that would be noted on my account, yet it never happened. Last year, the service department installed the wrong tires on my vehicle. Instead of immediately acknowledging the mistake, staff actually argued that those tires belonged to my car. The problem is that my winter setup uses steel rims, not chrome rims — and the rims they installed literally had “SUBARU” stamped on them. Somehow I had to convince a Volkswagen service department that Subaru rims do not belong on a VW. What should have been an immediate apology turned into an argument, followed by me having to waste more of my own time bringing the vehicle back to correct their mistake. No accountability, no ownership, and no professionalism. It gets worse. I was told a visual inspection had been completed on the vehicle, yet shortly afterward I discovered the front brakes were completely worn despite the vehicle only having approximately 31,000 km. Apparently a “visual inspection” at VW Myers Barrhaven still allows a customer to leave driving on severely worn brakes. When I later raised concerns about a squeaking brake pedal inside the vehicle, instead of addressing the issue seriously, I was asked whether I “kick the brake pedal” when getting into the car. That comment perfectly summarizes the attitude I experienced from this service department: dismissive, defensive, and completely unwilling to take customer concerns seriously. Today was the final straw. I had a scheduled tire swap appointment at 3:30 PM and dropped off my vehicle expecting a routine service appointment. I was informed there would be no Uber service available and that I would need to wait 45 minutes for a shuttle home. Fortunately, I happened to run into a friend who drove me instead. Then less than an hour later, I received a phone call informing me that the dealership had LOST my tires and needed “about a week” to figure out what happened. To make matters even more absurd, I was also told not to bother bringing in my second vehicle for its appointment because they had apparently lost those tires too. Losing one customer’s tires is unacceptable. Losing both sets of tires belonging to the same customer while continuing to provide poor communication, careless service, and zero accountability is simply embarrassing for a dealership representing a major brand like Volkswagen. As a side note, I do want to acknowledge that the individual who has had to deal directly with customers because of the lack of competency from the service side has been understanding, professional, and has genuinely done everything he could to address my concerns. Unfortunately, good customer-facing staff can only do so much when the underlying service experience continues to fail at a basic operational level. At this point, I have absolutely no confidence in the service department at VW Myers Barrhaven. The sales team earned my business, but the service department has done everything possible to lose it. EDIT: I have now recieved the tires with 3 of them missing the rim caps.

🌟 5-Star Review for an Outstanding VW Car Salesman! 🌟 We recently had the pleasure of purchasing a 2025 Volkswagen Tiguan at VW Myers Barhaven, and we can confidently say that working with Lovish was the best car-buying experience we've ever had. From the moment we stepped into the dealership, Lovish greeted us with professionalism, genuine enthusiasm, and an impressive knowledge of the vehicle we ended up buying. What truly set Lovish apart was his ability to listen. Instead of pushing a quick sale, he took the time to understand what we needed in a vehicle, explained every feature in detail, and answered every one of our questions with honesty and patience. There was absolutely no pressure — just support, transparency, and top-tier customer service. Lovish made the entire process seamless, and took his time to explain different options and features of the newly redisgned Tiguan during the test drive. If you're looking for someone who genuinely cares, knows their stuff, and will go the extra mile to make your car-buying experience smooth and stress-free, ask for Lovish. We couldn’t be happier with my purchase, and it’s thanks to him, rest is on the manufacturer as we hope that this car will continue riding smooth. Highly recommended Lovish — 10/10 experience!

We recently purchased a car from Walkwagen Dealership in Barrhaven, and Khaled Algayyar was our amazing salesperson! He was super knowledgeable and patient, walking us through every detail of our chosen car from start to finish. He listened carefully and explained everything clearly. The process was seamless, and we'd definitely recommend him to others 👍.
