My sales representative was Cody Block. He was excellent with me when it came to finding a replacement for the vehicle he had sold me a few weeks earlier that got totaled. He spent the afternoon with me trying different vehicles and trying to find the one I wanted with options that the vehicle had to have. He searched but finally found one and made the sale happen. He really worked very hard for me to find the right vehicle. He is an excellent sales representative and excellent person to work with. Today I purchased a truck from Travis, and my experience with him was absolutely amazing. My husband has a TBI, which comes with cognitive challenges, so I handle most of the major decision-making in our family—despite not knowing much about vehicles. Travis took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of my questions with patience, and made me feel comfortable and confident throughout the entire process. Unfortunately, my experience with John in financing was the complete opposite. I found his communication to be arrogant and, at times, belittling when I expressed a different perspective. I understand that his role involves selling financing options, but the conversation felt unnecessarily personal—especially when he spoke negatively about lending programs from a bank I’ve trusted for years and had positive experiences with. That left a sour impression. Because of the exceptional service Travis provided, I would consider returning. However, without that level of care and professionalism on the sales side, my experience with financing alone would have been enough to keep me from coming back. -Kayla Castleberry

Bought my first Ford last night and went to Nelson in Fergus Falls. I’ve purchased countless vehicles over the years and I must say the team at Nelson has been by far the best to work with. They are very knowledgeable and kind and were very accommodating. Picture your typical dealership experience (not usually fun, right?) Nelson is the opposite of that. Strongly recommend the team at Nelson if considering a new vehicle. Worth the drive for those out of town, like myself. Keep up the great work, and a big shout out to Troy for working hard to get me the deal I needed.
