I stopped by the shop looking at cars because I had been told the repairs on my Subaru would be expensive. Rather than selling me a car, he asked to look at mine. All it needed was a radiator. We also talked about other repairs and maintenance that I already knew need to be done. He suggested we do them over time, not all at once, which made my bank account very happy. Lou takes the time to explain things without talking down to you. He doesn’t try to sell you more than your car needs. Lou knows everything Subaru. Northeast Imports is a shop you can trust.

I found this shop after frustration prompted me to seek out a Subaru specialist. Lou caught a bunch of problems with my Impreza that another local shop had repeatedly missed, including a couple of serious safety issues. He sent video to show what was going on, and provided the most detailed invoice and notes I've ever received from a mechanic. On top of all that, he got me in very quickly and finished the work up even faster. I really appreciated how thorough he was in his diagnostics and felt confident in his assessment. As someone who wants to drive my cars for a long time, that matters a lot. I won't be bringing mine anywhere else!

Local shop, friendly knowledgeable staff, conveniently located. What more could you ask for. Refreshing to do business with. We purchased a used car for my wife. Which I hated the thought of. "Found" remembered these guys when Subaru was mentioned as a contender. I feel the value was there and the service was excellent. Highly Recommend! Lou gives honest insight, has fair prices and takes pride in his work. He goes out of his way to explain what’s going on with your Subaru, shows you using parts around the shop and continually sent me videos throughout the process to show me what was up.

I've been bringing my WRX here for well over year now for all my service, maintenance and upgrading needs. Lou, the owner and operator of this shop has primarily been my go to guy for anything on my car. He has treated my WRX like his own. He is proficient at repairing and fabrication for all things Subaru. Lou is one of the most talented mechanics I have had the pleasure of working with. Recently I just had a laundry list of engine work done as well as an upgraded clutch and flywheel. Lou and the rest of the Northeast Imports staff were timely, attentive and focused on getting the job done right! The car came out driving like it was brand new! I could write so much more but, their work both run of the mill and custom, speaks for itself. Their hard work, dedication and skill with Subaru's has landed me as a customer for life.
