# Summary Experiences at this dealership vary dramatically, with satisfied customers praising individual salespeople for their helpfulness, honesty, and personalized service. However, dissatisfied customers report serious concerns about vehicle condition, safety issues, and feeling misled about the quality of used cars sold as-is.
It was such a pleasure working with Mike to find the perfect vehicle for my family! When we walked in he greated us with a smile and let us shop around viewing all kinds of different vehicles answering any questions we had, he treated us like we weren't just another sale, advising us on when would be the best time to refinance, how to get a better APR and how to boost our credit score. He took his time and made sure that we were happy with every aspect of the purchase and advised us on a better insurance company to go with, I would 100% recommend purchasing any vehicle through Mike!
We bought a car on Saturday, 03/07/26 from Mike Howard. We bought a 2010 Mazda 3 i touring for around $4,900. The car has around 124,900 miles on it. We drove it for a half hour and the car felt good. We made a mistake not taking it to an auto shop for a used car check. After title, taxes, fees, the cost came to a little over $6000. Do not make the same mistake we did. We ended up buying the car. Last night, 03/08/26, the check engine light and TA light came on. I dropped off the car at the Midas on Beechmont. The mechanic called us to say the Automatic Transmission is completely gone. The car also needed a new tire rod, struts, shocks, and tires. I was expecting new tires and a few other things. However, now we are being hit with a $4,800 bill for repairs with the Automatic Transmission being gone. Of course, we paid in full and I signed the "As Is" paperwork, so I got scammed. Absolutely do not trust this place. Everyone there seems nice and friendly, however it is 100% a scam operation. I should have listened to the other reviews. Do not make the same mistake we did. This is place is the definition of a sleezy car dealership. They got me. Do not let them get you.
"Jake" from State Farm🤣 was amazing! The process went smooth on buying our Dodge Challenger! I recommend Jake from Oaks Automotive:)
Run! Had a 99 4Runner looked at by my mechanic. Multiple repairs that they clearly had made were life safety issues. Fuel line was patched with rubber hose. Trans dip stick was wire tied to brake lines. If you plan to put a loved one in your car - I’d purchase elsewhere. Not to mention the owner/manager cussed me out when I told him about the issues.
I had an excellent experience with Jesse at Oaks Automotive. He was incredibly honest, easy to work with, and provided top-notch customer service from start to finish. The car I purchased was a great deal all around and exactly as described — a very nice, reliable used vehicle. If you’re looking for a trustworthy place to buy a car in Cincinnati, I highly recommend Jesse and the team at Oaks Automotive!
