I recently bought a 2013 Ford Escape from Dickson Ford and had a great experience from start to finish. Robert was a pleasure to work with - zero pressure, just honest and helpful. DON'T TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE FOR RECALLS OR REPAIRS Brought my truck in to have the rear axle recall done when I got there to pick up the truck they gave me a bag of broken steel pieces that they found in the differential that the recalled axles caused and instead of repairing the damage under the recall the installed the new axles and closed the recall. Then proceeded to tell me it wasn't covered by Ford and that I could expect to pay 6500 to have it repaired. So I called Ford customer service and was told they would have covered the damages but because the dealer closed the recall they won't repair it. So I asked them if the dealer did this on purpose to charge me more for the repairs and he said yest the dealer screwed me OVER. I have this on a phone recording that I will post on reddit. Stay away from this dealer. As to your reply a recall doesn't fall under manufacturing warranty so why bring that up
