# Summary The dealership receives praise for its sales team's professionalism, efficient purchasing process, and transparent communication, with multiple customers highlighting exceptional individual salespeople and smooth transactions. However, post-sale service experiences are inconsistent, with some customers noting limited follow-up after purchase and others reporting concerns about service accuracy, time estimates, and handling of customer vehicle modifications.

I recently purchased a 2026 Toyota Tacoma SR5 from One Toyota Oakland, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. I had outgrown my 2022 Camry and needed something that matched my day-to-day demands — more space, more versatility, and something built for how I actually move. From the moment I walked in, the team made the process smooth and straightforward. A huge thank you to Jamir, who helped me through the entire process from start to finish. He was professional, patient, knowledgeable, and made sure everything was handled efficiently. No pressure, no games — just clear communication and real support the whole way through. Also big appreciation to Paul and the rest of the team for making the transition seamless. If you’re looking for a dealership that values your time and takes care of you the right way, One Toyota Oakland is the spot. Top-tier service all around.

Dealership staff was kind and welcoming, but the sale itself felt very transactional after paying for the car. I’ve bought a car last year at another dealership, and they were super helpful after giving the keys, with walking me through the car’s features and setting up an account on the app. That didn’t happen here, and it felt like the service ended once they gave the keys.

Amazing dealership experience! Jae’s sales team went above and beyond to secure my 2026 GR86 Yuzu Edition fast at the MSRP price. The buying process was transparent and they kept me posted with timely updates. The paperwork was smooth, and delivery was on point. If you’re a car enthusiast looking for a great experience, this is the place to go. Just note that if you need to get a cashier’s check from the BofA branch near the dealership, have your physical BofA debit card with you. They wouldn’t issue you a cashier’s check with a digital card.

Making an appointment for service was quick and easy. The customer lounge area is welcoming and large enough for customers to wait comfortably. Our service advisor, Daniel, was professional and courteous. I do wish that the service center is more efficient and accurate with time estimates for their techs. We were told our vehicles would be done by a certain time but ended up waiting another hour because the tech ran into an issue. I also have a dash cam installed in my vehicle. The service center disconnected my dash cam by pulling all the plugs out without permission. I don’t think the dealership should allow techs to touch anything that is not related to what I brought the vehicle in for. I was told that it is management policy to not allow dash cams in the service center because they don’t want videos of information displayed on their computers in the shop. This response doesn’t make sense since the dash cam does not have a high enough resolution to capture anything in a computer screen 10 or 20 feet away. It makes more sense that the service center is attempting to keep customers from seeing what happens when a customer’s car goes in the shop. This is because there have been other times when the service center did not unplug my dash cam, and what I saw was unprofessional behavior from the tech who was test driving my vehicle - from yelling profanity at a pedestrian crossing the street to treating our vehicle like his own race car while driving very fast over speed bumps and past other moving vehicles on the dealer’s lot. Driving at high speeds over speed bumps is not treating a customer’s vehicle with care while possibly causing more wear to the vehicle’s suspension. A shop should have nothing to hide, and there shouldn’t be a need to unplug dash cams, if they are doing everything properly and treating their customer’s vehicles with respect. Videos speak for themselves.
