Best car buying experience from Michelle, Nate, Bill, Rafael and the whole team at Canandaigua West Herr Mazda. We’ve been stuck with the same car dealership for many years prior to this purchase because we’ve always used the trade-in and loyalty incentives. Tried out others but ultimately stayed where we were because they were all the same anyway. We then have never spent no less than 4-5 hours each time playing the back and forth game where the salesman disappears for 30 minutes at a time to “talk with the manager” to get us the best deal. While exploring other options again we walked into the West Herr Mazda (first time in any West Herr dealer) and immediately felt an entirely different atmosphere than anywhere else we have been over the last 20 years. So much so we almost immediately decided to make the clean break from our other dealer, forget our loyalty incentives and find the car we wanted through West Herr. Michelle and Nate listened to what we were wanting, gave us a few options without any pressure, and did some test drives. It was a Friday and when it came up in conversation that we couldn’t come back until the following week because we had to drive to Buffalo on Saturday, they told us to just take the car home overnight and take it to Buffalo to get a long drive and entire day with it to feel it out. This allowed us to really try out the vehicle and feel good about our decision to ultimately choose the Mazda CX-90 (I’ve never had such a smooth and relaxed ride). When we scheduled to make the purchase a few days later, we were in and out in less than two hours. Total time in the dealer including looking, test driving and buying was maybe 3 hours over two separate days. Everybody worked extremely well together and made it such a smooth, easy process. I look forward to using West Herr for the next 20+ years of car buying.

As this is my first purchase of a Mazda and after an unsatisfactory experience with another dealership, I was highly recommended to your dealership by two personal friends and also my mechanic. It is quite a distance for me but well worth the drive. I was referred specifically to Tarah and upon arriving with my sister, we were pleasantly introduced and had a great time sharing stories with Tarah without being rushed. I was also pleasantly introduced to Jeremy, the service manager for this dealership. We were able to test drive the car we chose without hesitation. After returning, we continued to chat and left with enough information to return with my husband to test drive once again and purchasing the car. Tarah went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and has continued supporting me in the months to follow. You are very fortunate to have her on your staff. Buying a car is not always the most pleasant experience and I have bought many cars from every make and model. I can say without hesitation, this was the most pleasant experience I have ever had. The small dealerships are definitely a plus. I look forward to future purchases and specifically thank Tarah for her kindness and expertise.

Michelle was amazing!! She and one of her co workers picked out a fabulous 2024 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid XSE, with very low mileage, for me to test drive. I fell in love with it immediately. The process was seamless and I drove the car home the same day. Great team there at West Herr Mazda out in Canandaigua. Go see Michelle!

10/10, Jeremy and Marcus from the Service Department were very understanding and helpful during my financial crisis. They answered all my follow up questions about my cars maintenance and honestly, it was really interesting listening and they're capable of explaining to a general audience. This West Herr location from buying my vehicle, to the service appointments has pushed for me to give this review, awesome sauce peeps :)) and if you can finance it, go there!
