OpenRoad VW Burnaby

Open Road VW Burnaby . I recently purchased a GTI from Open Road VW Boundary Burnaby. I wanted to post a review about my experience. I think its important,over the last 6 months I've been looking to replace my older GTI and another vehicle in our household. Unfortunately I have seen the dishonest fee charging underbelly of the car business and its been pretty dissapointing and disheartening to say the least. I saw a GTI advertised at OpenRoad VW and took a drive to the OpenRoad lot no appointment or anything ,stopped on the lot and was looking at that specific vehicle,when I was approached by Reshad a sales associate for the dealership ,he was great, honest up front answering all my questions with no pressure, no tactics,nothing but a gentleman. It was very much appreciated by myself and wife. Honest, truthful ,friendly ,listening, understanding a rare quality in my latest auto quests. He handed the keys over to me, we took the GTI for a 10 min drive by ourselves North on Boundary to the end turned around came back, made a fair offer we had a small friendly encounter with the sales manager Wei Guo a tough negotiater but fair and honest, with Reshad stickhandling the process keeping all parties feeling good and moving forward. The total experience was over in a hour the GTI was bought and just needed to be picked up a couple days later to finish off the details. Upon pic up the car was perfect clean detailed in the showroom ready to go. We were so pleased with the way we're treated we purchased the extra warranty on top of the price from Mathew. The OpenRoad dealership the facility is first class clean, large, comfortable,coffee bar ,great restrooms, great seating if the transaction or service takes a little longer. Every person we encountered , starting with gentleman Reshad to his boss Wei, Vieanne, was honest super polite and accommodating returning all phone calls etc.They have restored some faith that there is businesses like OpenRoad VW that take the customer very serious no matter their means or situation and work hard to get you in the car you want with a honest truthful approach. Finally I like to give a shout out to the service manager a busy guy Shane Gordon and his assistant Mark Dionne after about 8 weeks we noticed a small little stumble in the idol barely noticeable but were unsure so Isabelle called Mark and all the calls were returned promptly .We were told to bring the car in no appointment. I was met personally by Shane service manager we spoke for 20 min of his time, he again listened to my concerns was very straight forward understanding took the car in immediately to evaluate, scan, took a quick look did a small purge software upgrade and sent me on my way within 30 minutes well I sat at their coffee bar and waited. Thanks to Shane and his staff, those small details make a big deal to the customer and their memory and that's the way I would describe the whole experience at OpenRoad VW they pay attention to all details no matter how small its what separates mediocrity to first class experience which we received. We look forward to all my future service and any more purchases needed from OpenRoad Volkswagen. Cheers VW✌️✌️

I had an excellent experience purchasing my VW Tiguan from start to finish. The entire team was professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable, which made the whole process smooth and stress-free. This is my second experience purchasing with VW Burnaby within 3 years, and I am still very very happy. My first experience was buying a 2022 Atlas highline while 8months pregnant, and they were very helpful to get us all completed in one day. But my most recent experience on May 30 with Matin was above and beyond. I met him nearly 4 months before I purchased and he was kind, patient, not pushy, and extremely easy to communicate with via text. It made it a no brainer to buy with him as he made me feel very comfortable. Deep helped me remain calm and understand the financing side. And Jackie was an ultimate star with helping me understand the new Atlas ins and outs. I’ve appreciated the follow ups and checking in from Matin and Jackie as well to make sure all is well with the newer Atlas for my family.
