# Summary The dealership receives sharply divided feedback, with some customers praising smooth transactions, reliable vehicles, and attentive service, while others report serious concerns including unexpected financing changes after purchase, unusual documentation requests, and poor communication following sales. Overall experiences range from highly satisfied long-term owners to frustrated buyers who encountered problematic post-sale practices.
On May 22, 2026, I visited Pacific Auto LLC on Highway 99 after seeing a vehicle that caught my attention. The car looked great, drove well, and I was interested in purchasing it. The salesperson took my information and told me they would work on financing. The following day, I had not received any updates, and I noticed that my credit had not yet been pulled. I contacted the salesperson, who told me they were still waiting to hear back from lenders. The next morning, I received a notification that my credit had been checked, and about 20 minutes later the salesperson called to say I had been approved and could come pick up the vehicle. Before I arrived, the salesperson called and asked if I could bring physical Social Security cards for both myself and my wife. He specifically asked whether we had “good Social Security numbers” or ITINs. I explained that we are both U.S. citizens and found the request unusual, as I have purchased vehicles before and have never been asked to physically present my Social Security card. After I told him we were citizens, he said that was sufficient. On May 24, I completed the paperwork, provided a $1,000 down payment, and took the vehicle home. Another thing I found unusual was that I was instructed to add full coverage insurance and list the dealership as the lienholder, even though the financing bank had supposedly already been identified. I followed their instructions and took the vehicle home. On June 1, the dealership contacted me and asked me to return. When I arrived, I was told that the financing terms had changed and that I needed to sign new paperwork. I was informed that two collections had been found on my credit report and that my interest rate would increase from approximately 6% to nearly 11%. I was surprised because the dealership had already reviewed my credit and approved the transaction before I took possession of the vehicle. Since the terms had changed significantly, I decided I no longer wanted the car and requested my down payment back. At that point, I was told I had driven the vehicle approximately 440 miles and that the dealership intended to charge me $200 for using the car. I had never encountered this situation before and questioned why I would be charged when the financing terms had changed after the sale. I was also told that I should have the vehicle detailed before returning it, despite having the car for only about a week and returning it in clean condition. In fact, I returned it with a full tank of gas, whereas it had less than half a tank when I received it. Eventually, the dealership agreed to return my down payment. However, the entire experience left me frustrated and concerned about how the transaction was handled. My recommendation to future customers is to carefully review all financing terms, ask questions, and make sure everything is finalized before taking possession of a vehicle.
We bought a vehicle here in January 2024, I am just now leaving a review because I wanted to be able to give an honest review of experience and how the vehicle has worked out for us. 8 months later I can say that we were highly satisfied with our purchase. We bought a 2016 Nissan Pathfinder, it was in great shape, very clean inside. It has been incredibly reliable for us with not a single issue that came up. Our experience with the dealer itself was very smooth, clear communication, easy fast process. I would definitely recommend a friend to Pacific Auto in the future.
Mark has great costumer service. He was able to work around my schedule and in a timely manner. They have a great selection of cars and understand what I was looking for in a car. I was able to get a car that same day!
I purchased a two thousand ten chevy, silverado crew cab. I waited a month to post this and I am very satisfied with the truck for the price. I would have no issues buying another vehicle if they have one on the lot. That I would want. And again thank you pacific auto
Vehicle totaled within 16 days. Bought as is, so makes sense. But lots of dodged calls following the purchase.
