The dealership receives consistently high praise for its friendly, attentive sales staff and smooth purchasing experience, with customers highlighting excellent customer service and competitive pricing. However, critical service failures have occurred, including a dangerous oil drain plug oversight that left a customer stranded and inflated service charges that customers felt were exploitative.
I am blown away by this dealership! I traded up to a new 2026 Outback and from the moment I arrived I had the entire teams attention. They made me feel valued, and like I was a top priority through the entire process. When you hear about the Subaru Customer Service promise and see the culture and the companies core values at play in every single person you interact with? That speaks volumes to the caliber of employee that you hire and also it resonates with me that I'm giving my business to an establishment that cares about its employees. If the core values weren't felt all the way through, you wouldn't get that same level of service that I got when I bought my car. They were patient, answered my questions, offered me more than I could have imagined. When I reached out online to buy from home, Luke was so responsive and never made me feel like anything I asked for or wanted was too much. When I picked up my car, Craig and Tristan were top notch, took the time to get to know me, and also matched my excited energy through the entire process which makes a huge difference! All in all, the experience with this dealership was phenomenal. My one downside is my door has a scratch on it. It was later in the day and I didnt notice it until I was a few miles away and the dealership had closed for the day, so I'll have to call and go back and get it corrected or get some touch up paint which is tough because I drove an hour to get the car. But that doesn't take away from everything the staff did for me. Thank you, Parkway Subaru!
After taking our car for the first time out of town after the oil was changed, my wife was driving on the interstate and the car began smoking really bad. Another vehicle motioned to my wife and helped her maneuver the car off the interstate and into Pilot Mountain Scenic Overlook. The gentleman in the vehicle hurried and help my wife open the hood and smoke was rolling out. Megan then called me, since I was in Wilmington. I asked the gentleman if it was the radiator or oil. He said oil was pouring out onto the ground. For the next 5 hours my wife and daughter were stranded as no tow service would answer phone calls. I rented a car hauling trailer and drove to the point where she was located arriving at 3AM. There was a clear puddle of oil under the vehicle and on the whole under carriage, along with the parking space next to her car. I got a flash light out and laid down and could feel the drain plug was not in the oil pan. Attached are the pictures and video documenting the car. We are still stranded here as a tow truck isn’t supposed to arrive until mid morning and I can not get the car on my trailer. We need to receive a phone call ASAP! It is currently 3:45AM on February 21st.
My wife and I had a great experience at this dealership. Samy was incredibly helpful and made the whole process very easy and comfortable! Tristan was also very nice and informative. We love our new 2026 Subaru Crosstrek! ☺️
What great service! Everyone was friendly and professional. The whole process of buying a car with Parkway was smooth less. They gave me a great price on my trade in and 0% financing on a new loan.
My wife dropped her car off here while I was out of town because it died on her while on market street. They "diagnosed" that the car needed a new battery. That cost $200 just to "diagnose" the problem. If I wanted to get the battery replaced there, it was gonna cost me $500. You can get a new battery for $200 and it takes 5 maybe 10 minutes tops to change a battery so thats $300 in labor for 10 minutes? I came by to get the car so I could change the battery myself. They left the glove box on the floor with the cabin filter just laying there. We never asked them to change the cabin filter. They checked it and just left it. DON'T TAKE YOUR CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP! They take advantage of people who don't know anything about cars.
