This is what happened to me at Toyota Philpott,I had an appointment on 12/09/25 to replace the brake pads at 1pm,I showed up a little early and the person working with me that day was named Stacy.She told me to go to into the waiting room,after a while she came up to me and informed me that my car needed a rotor replacement and she told me the price to replace the rotor and brake pads was around $900 and I agreed.I sat waiting until 3 pm and still no word on when it would be done.I went to ask her and was told that they didn’t have the brake pads to replace,I felt very disappointed because my appointment was to replace the brake pads and they made me wait for over 3 hours and then wait for me to ask before saying they didn’t have any.How ever Mrs.Stacy told me that they could replace the rotor today and I need to wait a little longer because they didn’t have the rotors at the dealership and needed to go get somewhere,the person who when to get the rotors wa about to return.At 5 pm Stacy said she had replaced my rotors and showed me the bill for $580,she said my brake pads weren't too bad and I could drive them for a few weeks and then come back and replace them,so I paid and went home.I had a new notice on 09/16/25 from Toyota Philpott asking if I wanted to come back to the dealership this weekend to have my brake pads replace so I made an appointment for 10 am on Saturday 09/20/25 .I showed up on time and after a while I was told by a staff member that my rotors were a little chipped and needed to be repaired the cost for that was about $75 ,I was a little surprised and said I had just had my rotors replaced last week and had them replaced here,but the staff member said no Sir your rotors are very old and they are not new,the staff member took me to where my car was being repaired and showed me the rotors,I couldn't believe my eyes why was that happened.I showed the employeethe recipe,I paid for the rotors replacement$580 and finally realized they didn't replace my rotors last week but charged me $580 and Stacy claimed they replaced it.A while later a boss named Matthew Kelleher came to apologize for the incident and returned the money they had taken,I appreciate the explanation but I still cannot accept such a sloppy job.I will never come back to this place again and for anyone who comes to this place to repair their car,be careful. 5 hours waiting Paid $580 No brake pads No rotors replace
