# Summary The dealership receives praise for exceptional sales experiences and responsive service from certain team members, though customers consistently report poor communication, incomplete repairs, and quality control issues in the service department. Negative experiences include extended service timelines, additional unexpected charges, missing documentation accuracy, and inadequate follow-up when problems arise post-service.

Stellar service stellar wonderful people Shane and Mike took such good care of me when I overheated at the Grand Canyon and I had to get flatbed towed to their dealer with my camper. I was able to bring my camper and stay in it near their location as they worked on my jeep. They got me back on the road safe and sound.

I had been searching for a new vehicle for quite some time, and this was by far the best service I experienced in Flagstaff. The entire sales process was smooth and straightforward, and I felt well taken care of from start to finish. Andrew O the sales person was Great. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great car-buying experience.

I had a very poor experience with the service department at this Planet Dodge/Jeep dealership. I brought my vehicle in with one clear complaint: the engine, ABS, and traction control lights were on after a wheel speed sensor was replaced. I was told a multi-point inspection is $175, and if I agreed to the recommended service, they would waive that fee. But on the receipt, I was charged $175 twice for 935 CJ. They did not communicate much, but I was rather rushed to the cashier's counter to pay for their service. A Multi-point inspection was performed, and the report indicated 53 items passed. But also stated the vehicle was leaking both hydraulic motor mounts, and there is fluid leaking from the front differential. After agreeing to the recommended repairs, the dealership kept my vehicle for over 3 weeks. Ultimately, they only repaired the sensor issue and the motor mounts. When I picked up my Jeep: The vehicle was not washed The radio/stereo/Bluetooth had no sound. The vehicle made a loud crunching noise when coming to a complete stop, a noise that did not exist when I dropped it off. I contacted the same service advisor, Shane Alcon. I was told these were “entirely different issues” and that I would need to schedule another appointment and pay an additional $175 inspection fee, even though the problems appeared immediately after the dealership took possession of my vehicle. I didn’t want to pay additional fees, but later I discovered that: The fuses were not properly reinstalled. Screws were missing from the cross-member bracket. Even after replacing the missing hardware, the loud noise when stopping still persists. Given the $199 hourly labor rate, the quality of workmanship and the final inspection are unacceptable. Additionally, the invoice contains incorrect information: it states “Customer states fluid leaking at rear differential,” which they recommended after the inspection. This raises further concerns about the accuracy of documentation and communication. Overall, I am extremely disappointed with the quality of service, attention to detail, and customer communication. I do not recommend the Planet Dodge service department.

We were traveling and needed an oil change on our Ram 2500 Cummins diesel. They worked with me on fitting into our travel schedule. When I arrived, I had absolute excellent service. Communication was 5 star, my Coordinator was very friendly and explained everything in detail. After they completed the complimentary inspection and the oil change service he reviewed the inspection in detail. Their Service department is a very professional group. I purchased the vehicle at another dealership because I’m from out of state but if I lived in the area, I would definitely consider this dealership first.

I never write reviews but sweet Lord, we are having the absolute worst experience with their service department. We've used them before with no issues and plenty of communication, and now there is zero communication and terrible service. My husband dropped off his car on November 15 for a/c and heating issues. Quoted us around $2000. Ok. A week or so later we were informed it would be over $4k. Ok. The car wasn't ready until Nov 28. Three weeks, and the day after Thanksgiving. Well, I was out of town and my husband can't drive due to recent shoulder surgery. We arrange to pick it up that Monday, December 1. Before we can even get there, around 9am they text us that a tow truck hit our car and they were sending it "to a body shop" with no further info. No estimated date, no location, nothing. My husband has called and left multiple messages with no response. Now we are being called by Planet's insurance company, Travelers. Why is their insurance contacting us??? It's been over 2 weeks at this point with zero info. We finally decided to go thru our own insurance company so we can get a rental and repair, then our insurance can hash it out with them. Now we are getting information - from our insurance , not from Planet. Found out it's over $8000 in damages that they caused! Still don't know when we can have our car back. Sorry, but every job I've ever worked, if I or the company make a mistake, it's top priority to correct ASAP. Planet? Sounds like this body shop didn't even look at it until our insurance company got involved yesterday. If you need your car repaired in a timely fashion and without the front end smashed in, this is not the place.
