# Summary This dealership receives praise for accommodating service scheduling, thorough maintenance work, and a welcoming community presence, with satisfied customers highlighting professional staff and support for local organizations. However, negative experiences involve long wait times for trade-ins with unfavorable valuations, inconsistent service policies regarding vehicle eligibility, and disputes over refunds for services allegedly not performed as charged.
Porsche of Asheville has always been very accommodating in scheduling my service appointments and getting me a loaner when needed. The work is always thorough with no issues were I need to come back. I get my car with all work complete and the car nice and clean!
My wife and I have done business with Flo Asheville for several years now. The sales, finance and service team always exceeds our expectations. From Rhett Blanchard, the general manager to Parker Grove, mgr to self-proclaimed “Worlds Greatest Car Salesman” Ron Klahr the buying experience is effortless. Tim Cousins does a great job in F&I and won’t push add on’s. Zach Elkins is head of service and is a top notch advisor. We have a collection of older Porsches that Flo is able to service. - Flo Asheville heavily supports our Appalachian Region - Porsche Club of America with sponsored events. - Flo is more than a car dealership; it’s a part of the incredible Porsche experience!
I absolutely love driving a Porsche but the experience and customer service is by far the worst. They make you wait 3 hours just to do a trade in even when it’s a certified used Porsche that was only owned for a year with no accidents. This was with calling in advanced to let them know what car I would like to trade in for. After waiting all this time they give you the lowest value of the car to trade in for another Porsche. Loosing 30k in a year on a vehicle is insane and terrible way to keep guest. This was a waste of time and I can’t wait to get to get rid of it and never purchase one again.
Part# 1 I had an alignment service done at Porsche Asheville and paid $1,200. After driving less than 2,900 miles, the tires are still wearing unevenly, so I reached out to request a recheck. They scheduled an appointment for me, but while I was already on my way, the service consultant Tiffany called and canceled it. She said the reason was that they don’t service vehicles that have any prior damage or a salvage title — even though all parts on my vehicle are original and the car drives perfectly fine. I asked her a very reasonable question: “If your policy says you don’t service such vehicles, then why did you take my car and perform the alignment the first time?” She had no clear answer. I also asked Tiffany to send me a copy of this policy (so that customers could see it before paying for service) and a printout with alignment readings or photos from the original visit. She never sent them. Here’s what Tiffany wrote to me: “It is the policy of Porsche Asheville that we do not service vehicles with a salvage title. We are unable to perform any warranty on an alignment due to the nature of the service.” This is very disappointing — the dealership refuses to stand behind their own work, even though the alignment was performed and fully paid for at their location. Customers deserve transparency and honesty about such policies before paying for any service. I’m truly disappointed — when it was time to take my money, everything was fine, but when I asked them to stand behind the work they performed, they refused. I emailed the service manager as well and am still waiting for a response. Part #2 After the General Manager responded to my original review, I attempted multiple times to contact him using the phone number provided. I left voicemails but never received a return call. I later visited the dealership and requested documentation showing how my wheel alignment was performed. Only then was I shown a service document stating that the alignment was NOT performed and no adjustments were made, despite the fact that I was charged in full and originally told the service had been completed. I requested a refund for a service that was not performed. The dealership refused. I am still seeking a refund for work and tires that their own documentation confirms was never done.
As a middle school student looking to practice photography, I was surprised when they welcomed me in to take photos and sit in the cars. They offered me snacks and even gave me a Porsche hat. Thank you so much to the employees there who let me do this even though I was not a serious buyer.
