Had a great experience buying a 718 S from out of state. Prices from over the phone were honored and I was let in the loop on everything with no surprises. My buddy and I were picked up from the airport in a new Cayenne which was a nice touch and made the buying experience more special. They also handled getting plates for my state for me which took about 6 weeks but (to my surprise) showed up without a hitch.

This was a first time out-of-sate purchase for me. My salesperson (Stephen) and finance person (Venita) were excellent and were patient with my various questions/concerns. The purchase process and delivery transport were seamless and efficient. The car arrived in A++ condition! I highly recommend this dealership.

I recently brought my car in for service, and I cannot say enough about Shawn Carr. He is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely helpful. My vehicle remained in service for an extended period due to parts availability from Germany, but Shawn kept me informed every step of the way. He provided consistent updates and made sure my loaner vehicle needs were fully taken care of. This has truly been the best service experience I’ve had. I also want to recognize the outstanding sales team. Stephen Clayton is the person to see. He was never pushy, always professional, and took the time to answer all of my questions about purchasing another Porsche. Every detail and piece of information he provided was accurate and transparent. I highly recommend Porsche of Novi, especially Shawn Carr as your service advisor and Stephen Clayton for sales. Firstly, I acknowledge that I purchased the vehicle “as is” and I accept full responsibility for not obtaining a pre-purchase inspection, doing more proper research prior to purchase, and the results that the situation has given me. However, I relied on the dealership’s reputation and expected a higher level of transparency. I am only sharing this experience so that prospective buyers can make fully informed decisions and consider conducting their own independent inspections before purchasing a pre owned vehicle from this dealership. While it is reasonable to expect some wear or mechanical concerns when purchasing a used vehicle, I found it extremely frustrating that significant issues were not disclosed upfront. In my experience, concerns were only acknowledged after I personally identified them after the test drive, which raises serious questions about transparency. For example, a noticeable shudder while driving was not mentioned until I brought it to the dealership’s attention. This problem I was fully aware of upon purchase of the vehicle, and I take full responsibility for the results I was given, it is just crucial to point out the fact that I wasn’t made aware of this issue until I drove it and discussed my discoveries with the sales rep after the fact. I later learned that the vehicle had a substantial issue with its engine timing components, something that was never disclosed prior to purchase to me. The issue was unable to be heard due to the vehicles engine already being hot from being moved locations before our arrival, as the rattle can typically only be heard on a cold start. Within a little over 2 weeks of ownership, I brought the vehicle to a shop for a routine inspection and was surprised to receive a repair estimate totaling nearly the same as the purchase price. The vehicle requires extensive engine repairs, approaching $4,000, none of which had been communicated beforehand. What is particularly concerning is how quickly these issues surfaced after the sale, suggesting they may have been present prior to purchase. Despite reaching out to the dealership to discuss the situation, I was informed that no assistance would be provided. Later on upon request we received the multi point inspection for the vehicle which claimed that the transmission fluid level was “checked” and that the fluid condition was “checked”. The inspection done by the shop it was brought to briefly after ownership showed dirty and burnt transmission fluid, contradicting what the multi point inspection form advised. Please be mindful and aware with how and what you purchase “as is” from this dealer. As stated at the beginning of my review, I am fully aware and responsible for what this situation has given me, but I need to make sure that future buyers are aware as well.
