The dealership faces widespread complaints about selling vehicles with hidden mechanical problems, with customers reporting that error codes appear to be cleared before sale to mask serious engine and driveline issues. Additionally, customers describe poor communication, unresponsive staff, and significant delays in title transfers and paperwork processing.
Customer service was good, she was pleasant and friendly, but car wise... stay away. The vehicle we went to look at wouldn't lock and they tried to get us to test drive a different car and when we got in that one the check engine light was on. She did say all the vehicles come from auctions and I would be hesitant to purchase or trust a vehicle from Pyramid. In reading reviews, it seems they may clear codes and hope they dont come back on before you sign the dotted line.
WARNING: These people are dishonest! They clear the error codes on their vehicles to hide major problems. We bought a Buick from them that seemed fine during the test drive. As soon as we got it home, it wouldn’t start. Took it to a mechanic—turns out the engine was completely blown. They knew exactly what they were doing and sold us a lemon on purpose. DO NOT trust this place. DO NOT buy anything from them. Total scam artists!
Lack of communication, along with all of the 1 star google reviews are the reason why i will be moving along from this deal If your a salesperson running ads on facebook and your too “busy” or to good to answer questions then dont put them up! Maybe look for a different career path… Also called over the phone and the girl i spoke to sounded like she couldn’t wait to get off the phone with me, i just wanted to come buy a vehicle with cash…
I test drove a vehicle and had no issues with it while on test drive and running in the lot. Paid cash and drove half way home when the engine light came on and it started stalling. right before my temp was to expire the first time I still hadn’t received my paperwork to have it transferred into my name. Finally got it and then the driveline/axle busted. I went to go get everything put in my name and found out that there was an issue with the title and I sent back the paperwork. Got a phone call 2 and a half weeks ago and said it had been mailed. Never received it. Called them yesterday and was told the zip code was wrong so it was sent back. But no phone call to confirm the address. Still waiting and temp tag expires at midnight tonight.
Since I have to give at least 1 star that's what I'll do. Here's why, my husband and I bought a truck there didn't have any issues during test drive or while running at dealer. Paid cash, then drive it to canon city which is about 8 miles. Husband heard funky noises while driving home and started to take it back. Truck died 4 houses down... called dealership and told them we wanted our money back. They did give us it back since we had the truck for 30 minutes. They came and towed the truck and we got all our money back. But I wouldn't trust that this wouldn't happen again. Truck is now back on lot for sale...
