First I want to say that Carlos was AMAZING! He was an open book from the very start, wasn’t pushy at all and helped me (a 19 year old) get a brand new 2025 Ford F-150 STX. A couple months ago I was thinking that I was going to have to get a used truck with 100,000+ miles on it but Carlos and his team at Jones Ford Wickenburg made it possible to get me into a brand new truck and I couldn’t be happier! Not the greatest car buying experience. Trade in amount on the paperwork was $1k less than what we agreed to. They handed me a check for the amount (an extra stop to pick it up), but I am stuck with a vehicle that has an extra $1k of financing that I am paying interest on for the life of the loan, so that adds up over 84 months, if I keep it that long. The truck had nearly an empty tank of gas (light was on) and all 4 tires were low on the test drive. Both items I was told would be taken care of before I drove off the lot. They were not. I had to stop and pay for gas on my drive back to the Valley and hoped a tire wouldn't blow on my drive home due to low pressure. I provided gas receipt to Jones Ford, was given cash, but this prompted me stopping by the dealership again. Stopped by the dealership a 3rd time to drop off the 2nd key fob. Requested a referral to have a tow hitch receiver installed, never got that info. To add on top of all of this, I had paid my license fees on my trade in approximately 3 weeks prior. Well, I have had to jump through hoops trying to get the license fee amount back and was finally told by MVD that the vehicle isn't on my portal because the dealership already transferred it to someone else and I have to go in person to MVD to get it done properly. More time and effort on my part. This has never happened to me before and I have traded and purchased many vehicles. Buyer beware, review ALL paperwork before signing and make sure they follow through with their promises before you leave the lot. And verify their process if you are owed a refund on your trade in registration fees.
