# Summary The dealership receives highly polarized feedback, with most customers praising individual sales representatives for their professionalism, communication, and ability to secure favorable deals. However, one customer reported experiencing aggressive upselling tactics and feeling the sales process was deliberately manipulative despite clearly stating their specific purchasing intent.
I bought my first Nissan and it's all because I had a greater rep for sales,. Moe Khan, who was an excellent communicator and worked very hard to get me a sales price. What's great, is that I was just looking in the parking lot and Moe was walking by getting a vehicle for a another customer. He answered a few questions for me and then totally focused on my questions and pricing. I'll always point out to ppl that this is an excellent company and my car is awesome!! Thanks team!
After 'investing' thousands upon thousands of dollars in my used but dependable vehicle, I decided it was time to foray into the realm of new vehicle ownership. Based on my (CHATGPT) research, the Nissan Sentra S seemed like a good bargain, and was advertised at the price of 68.00$ per week on the Rallye Nissan website. I arrive at the dealership on a whim at 630 PM on a Monday night. There stood a salesman in the parking lot, observing the scene for his next prey. Luckily for him, his prey just arrived. We lock eyes. He invites me in and we sit down at his desk. I explicitly state to him why I was there - I'm looking for a monthly price for this specific vehicle I see on the website at 68.00 weekly. I don't want to see the car, I don't want to test drive the car. I don't care what the color is or what options it has. I simply want a price for this SPECIFIC vehicle I see on the website. After some back and fourth, he asks me to fill in a form, which I reluctantly agreed to, but thought was unnecessary considering I was there SOLELY to obtain an approximate price quote. While filling out the form, the salesman (who's name I didn't gather) mysteriously excused himself to go scan my ID. After about 5 or 6 minutes, a 'finance manager' appeared seemingly out of nowhere and sat at the desk where the salesman once sat mere minutes ago. He proceeds to ask me all the same questions as the previous sales person did. I reluctantly obliged and answered his questions, although it started the feel like I was in the twilight zone at this point. After just a few minutes, he was able to provide me a price for the car, without even looking it up. 460$ A month, which is a long shot from the advertised price on the website. I proceed to show him the specific advertised vehicle I am seeking on the site. He says, but there's no heated seats, no heated steering wheel. I state that I DO NOT CARE if the car is made made of PLYWOOD, as long as it has 4 wheels and has a warranty. He proceeds to tell me that this specific vehicle on the website is a SENTRA S - which they conveniently only received ONE of, and it had sold weeks before, and that there weren't receiving anymore. At this moment, the previous salesman arrives and informs me that he went to retrieve a SENTRA SV and wants me to step outside to see it, and go for a test drive. I expressed that I EXPLICITLY stated to him from the very beginning of our interaction, that I was not interested in either of those things, but he decided to go against my wishes. It was clear to me that the salesman knew that there was no inventory of the car I was looking for. He let the finance manager step in to deliver the bad news while he was retrieving the 460$ a month car the sales manager tried to pitch me earlier. All of this began to feel very, very predatory. Unfortunately for them, I am perhaps a salesman's worse nightmare. I knew what I wanted. I just wanted to know the cost and wasn't going to be up sold or swayed into purchasing anything but what I walked in for. I got up and informed them to make no attempts to contact me unless the specific vehicle I was seeking became readily available. I informed them that what they're doing, their sales tactic, the way they went about it, it's predatory and that it left a very bad taste in my mouth. LOCATION KEYNOTES -Location is conveniently located off Mapleton road near highway 15. -Very nice newish building with lots of glass. -The building was very clean and created a warm welcoming ambiance due to the glass walls flooding the building with natural light. FINAL WORD OF ADVICE This dealership is operated by Rallye motors group which has been awash in controversies for a plethora of different reasons over the years. Predatory salespeople, customer data mishandling, bad after purchase service, I could go on. I would advise everyone to do diligent research before purchasing here and go in head strong, otherwise they will try to up sell you in anyway you can regardless of your expressed intent.
We bought a Hyundai Tucson yesterday I have to say that the Customer service that we received from RAJ was top Knotch. Raj made our experience stress free and without hassle. Also thanks to Neil for running through the paperwork. Very happy and thanks to the whole team!
Great service from Nadia at Rallye Nissan! I was able to get a good price and a fair deal on my trade in. The process was quick and seamless. They even provided a full tank of gas for the new vehicle, along with rims and tires. Financing options were competitive and thoroughly explained. Very happy with the Qashqai.
KC and Michael are fantastic sales people; the best I’ve met since 2020 that I’ve been dealing with Rallye Motors. Positive, patient and professional in their dealings. I’m loving my latest car from there!
