RecovR

Locations shown with this device are all over the place. Only shows the location when the vehicle has been stationary for atleast an hour and is variable. It would have been far better to just use an Apple Airtag. Paid ~$850 for it. What a scam! Save your money and just get an Airtag. I should have researched this better prior to purchasing it.

Mandatory dealer add on. After my 3 years I have called to cancel. No one will answer the phone. Contact3 them through the app. No one will answer my question on their app. If buying a car and the dealer requires it as a dealer add on, go to another dealer.

Had to leave a review since RecovR just saved my car. So when I bought my car, the dealer was going through all the add-ons—gap insurance, extended warranty, all that stuff. I remember definitely tuning that part out, but then he mentioned this thing RecovR. He said it was basically a hidden GPS that works through an app, so if my car ever went missing, I could find it fast. Honestly, I thought it was just another upsell, but he told me a couple of actual recovery stories from other customers. For the price, I figured… eh, can’t hurt. Especially since I use my car a lot for work. Fast forward a few months. One regular Tuesday, I’m leaving this job site for work and… no car. At first, I thought I was losing my mind. I checked another row of the parking lot thinking maybe I parked somewhere else. Nope. That awful pit in your stomach feeling set in… someone definitely took it. Then I remembered I had RecovR. Opened the app on my phone, and there it was, my car was pinging just a few miles away. Called the police, gave them the exact location, and they found it the same night. Totally fine. Can’t even explain the relief of getting it back so quickly. app is simple, the alerts are quick, and the peace of mind is worth way more than what I paid at the dealer. I seriously didn’t expect to ever need it, but now I can’t imagine not having it. If your dealer offers it, take it. You’ll thank yourself later.

I regret ever buying the RecovR tracking device. The company’s customer service is basically nonexistent — every time I reached out for help, they just pushed me back to the dealership. The device itself is unreliable; I’ve already had to replace the battery three times. To make things worse, the dealership flat-out lied when they told me it was a lifetime purchase, only for me to find out later it’s actually limited to three years. Between the poor product quality and the constant finger-pointing between RecovR and the dealership, I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. Its not worth the hassle. Its kind of sad to have your entire company ran by another company. How embarrassing! ...and no control! Lol 😆... seriously folks, STAY AWAY. Look at more reputable companies.

Being able to monitor my car's location in real time with the RecovR installed is actually really nice guys. It's perfect for checking on my vehicle when it's parked in places I don’t often go to, cuzzz ya never know. My car is my next biggest asset besides my home so it really provides that extra peace of mind a thief couldn’t get too far before I’m alerted, check the app, and send a police report through the app right away. Beyond that, it helped me quickly locate my car in a massive parking lot I forgot where I left it hahaha. Super convenient!
