Excellent experience! Congratulations to all the team of Rhinelander Toyota, specially to our salesman Reese Lemke and the dealership management. We bought a Toyota Tacoma 1794 edition. Process was smooth, sharp and never pushy. If you’re in the UP Michigan area or the northwoods never think about it and get your vehicle with them.

Initially, I had a great experience with the team at Rhinelander GM. The employees I’ve dealt with have always been friendly and helpful, and I genuinely believe the front-line staff does their best to take care of customers. That said, there are clear systemic problems at the dealership level. This isn’t an issue with the service advisors or technicians personally — it feels like a breakdown in management processes and quality control, and it ultimately falls on the dealership and GM. When I purchased my 2022 Silverado ZR2 with roughly 15,000 miles, it was sold as a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle. Rhinelander GM failed to properly file the CPO warranty, and as a result I’m now without coverage on several major powertrain components. That is a serious issue, especially given the reliability concerns I’ve already experienced. Since purchasing the truck, I’ve had to bring it in repeatedly to resolve ongoing problems. Most recently, I’ve dealt with spark plugs backing out of the engine heads. The truck has been in three separate times for the same issue and new plugs were installed. I was told the problem was fixed and I wouldn’t need to worry anymore. On my drive home from a recent work trip, the check engine light came back on again. In just a year and a half of ownership, I’ve had to return to the dealership more than a handful of times. While the employees have been courteous, the repeated issues and the warranty oversight have been frustrating and disappointing — especially when purchasing a vehicle represented as Certified Pre-Owned.

The hole experience was 10 out of 10. The agent was very helpful and friendly. Help with any questions we had and are agent made sure to go through all the paperwork with my wife and I. Would recommend anyone looking for a vehicle to buy for here.
