Richardson Motors recently acquired this dealership so it looks like I am the first review. I found a car I was looking for on their website at an excellent price. I live 900 miles away, but I contacted them anyway and dealt with John Stindt. He was extremely fair, honest, and helpful. We did the paperwork and payment electronically and I arranged for transport. John went above and beyond in preparing the car, getting it cleaned, making sure the software was updated, even filling the gas tank. A+ service, highly recommend.

I purchased a Ram truck through John at this dealership, first vehicle I have ever spent almost $40,000 on in my life and also haven’t purchased in over 10 years. I felt I received a fair price on a well kept Ram the reason for the two stars, however after scanning in my license and taking my information for the purchase they still spelled my name wrong on the paperwork, even after correcting it they still submitted it wrong to the credit union. Being from Iowa the Wisconsin dealer does not collect sales tax and leaves it up to the end user to complete the transaction with their county treasurer. I took a day off work to go in due to the hours my treasurer was open only to find the dealer made a mistake when signing off on the title. I returned home and called John and told him I would be mailing everything back to him to correct, I included my check for the fees as the treasurer had calculated everything including the mailing fees so I didn’t have to take another day off to come back. When Richardson’s received the title back they did not make any changes and just mailed the title back. This whole thing took them so long to correct that it incurred a $10 penalty which Richardson’s refused to pay. My county treasurer called multiple times going above and beyond trying to work with their title clerk Holly and let me know that she gave a poor attitude and was rude. I am disappointed that this is the follow up service after a purchase. And feel they should have paid the fee and not stuck me with it without even a follow up call.
