Richibucto Motors

I had a very disappointing experience with Richibucto Ford. My F-150 was originally at Bouctouche Ford, where the customer service and mechanics were great, but they couldn’t diagnose the issue and suspected a transmission problem. They sent my truck to Richibucto Ford, and that’s where the problems began. Richibucto Ford had my truck for six weeks. During that time, I called several times only to be told it still hadn’t been looked at. Twice, the service manager, Neil, told me it would be checked the following Monday, and both times nothing was done. After more than a month without my vehicle, Neil even asked me what the truck was there for, which tells you everything about their organization and attention to customers. They finally took it for a test drive and decided to replace a transmission solenoid. I paid parts and labour for the work. When I picked the truck up, the original issue was still there. I booked yet another appointment, and this time they told me the engine was full of gunk, and suggested I put Seafoam in the fuel every time I get gas. Again, I was charged labour, and again, the truck was not fixed. In fact, it was running even worse than before. I reached out and asked if something could be done about the bill, considering I had been without my vehicle for weeks and paid around $1,500 with zero improvement. Neil told me there was absolutely nothing they could do. He wouldnt even remove the markup on the part they misdiagnosed. When I expressed concern about how long they had my truck, he told me he was “doing Bouctouche Ford a favor” and that their RCMP contract was more important than me. At the end of the day, im a ford customer. It shouldn't matter that the truck came in from another dealership. I thought I was dealing with a Ford service center, not an RCMP-only priority shop. Overall, I felt ignored, overcharged, and left with a truck in worse condition than when I brought it in. I strongly recommend avoiding Richibucto Ford for service.

I had a great experience with David Marcoux at Richibucto Motors. David did everything humanly possible to get me into a new Maverick. If your in the market for a new or used vehicle, contact David Marcoux, he is rhe go to guy. Excellent salesperson, all around super nice guy. You won't be disappointed.

Our service history with Richibucto Ford has been consistently chaotic. They have been responsible for our 2025 Ford Escape since the beginning, and the required work has repeatedly been neglected or poorly handled. The level of service we received does not reflect what we would expect from a certified Ford dealership in any way. I do not recommend.

I had an appointment today, November 10, at 8:00 a.m. for an oil change. I arrived before 8:00, checked in, and have been waiting since then. It’s now past 10:20 a.m., and several people who arrived after me have already been serviced and left. Could you please explain the delay? I scheduled an appointment expecting that it would help minimize wait time. I’d appreciate some clarification on what happened and how long it will still take to complete my oil change.
