# Summary This dealership receives highly polarized reviews, with most customers praising exceptional salespeople like Luis Diaz, Vil Silva, and Ridel Lincares for their professionalism, transparency, and patience, along with smooth purchasing experiences. However, negative reviews cite serious concerns including misleading information about vehicle specifications, poor facility maintenance, slow service processes, and management's lack of accountability when issues arise.
If I could give 10 stars, I would. Second Ioniq 5. Same dealership. Zero hesitation. I just signed my second consecutive lease on a Hyundai Ioniq 5 at Rick Case, and the experience was even smoother than the first time. Luis Diaz handled the sales process with patience, transparency, and genuine professionalism. I came in prepared with research, asked hard questions, and he never flinched. That kind of confidence earns trust. General Manager Yosuan Martinez runs a tight ship. The tone of the entire dealership reflects leadership that actually cares about the customer experience, not just the close. The Ioniq 5 SEL is simply a superior electric vehicle. Spacious, refined, whisper-quiet, and now with NACS port compatibility for Tesla Supercharger access. I turned in my 2024 with under 11,000 miles in nearly two years and drove off the lot in a 2026 same day. Drop-off, paperwork, and delivery were seamless. I am actively working on converting my wife into a Rick Case and Hyundai loyalist. Based on today, it should not take long. If you are on the fence about EVs or about this dealership, get off the fence. Ask for Luis.
The service advisor who handled my case was fantastic. It took a while to be “noticed,” but once I was, she was great—and many other employees are too. That said, this place is always overwhelmingly busy, there’s no sense of urgency, and the facility is disgustingly dirty. It feels like stepping into a building that’s been abandoned by management. My Hyundai broke down while still under warranty. When I was told it might take time to diagnose, I asked about a loaner. I was informed I’d have to pay for it, and they might cover the wait time once repairs began—but not until they confirmed the issue was covered under warranty. Fine, I agreed to pay. After waiting far too long, they loaded me and five other customers into a van to shuttle us to a rental car company. Mind you, the Hertz is about a minute from the dealership. Instead, they drove us all over town—dropping someone off at a remote location—before finally circling back to the Hertz half a mile away. But it started even before that. When my car failed to start during a trip, I called the dealership. They couldn’t have cared less. I was told the earliest they could look at it was Wednesday. So what was I supposed to do? I ended up towing the car home, then towing it to them days later. Look at the photos: burned-out printer, dented fridge, walls covered in holes and grime. If this is how they treat their own workspace, what does that say about how they value their employees—or their customers? I genuinely like Hyundai’s cars, but this experience makes ownership hard to recommend. Show some care, Rick Case Hyundai. Your employees and customers deserve better—and so does the Hyundai brand.
THANK YOU VIL SILVA! You are so professional to do business, patience, kind, respectful & most important transparent when it comes to doing business. Our family has done over 3 business with him and everything is always been great! Every question i have about our new cars he answers, he doesn't rush you to make a decision like other sellers do. I Will continue doing business with you and also refer you to everyone who is seeking a new vehicle. Rick case should definitely reward you as an amazing salesman and human being. Thanks again vil!!
I just became a new mom and needed to upgrade my Elantra to a Tucson. We saw one we loved online and we called to ask questions about it. They put us through with Ridel Lincares and all we have to say is WONDERFUL things about him & this dealership. He went into detail with the specs of the car and went above & beyond to send us pictures/videos of the car. We decided to purchase the car and drive down to get it from Tampa. Once we got to the dealership, Ridel showed us the car and we moved quickly to get this car purchased. It was such an easy & smooth process! My husband wants a Palisade, and we already know that we are coming back!
Beware of misleading information and poor customer service. I recently had a very disappointing experience with this dealership. I called ahead to confirm details about a 2025 Hyundai Elantra N in the rare powder blue color — I even read the VIN over the phone to make sure we were looking at the same car. Both the BDC representative and the salesman (Anwar/Andy) reassured me multiple times that the car was indeed powder blue, since I was driving over an hour to get there. This color was the only reason I agreed to do the credit application and the deal over the phone. When I arrived, the car was completely different — it was midnight blue, not the color shown online or confirmed on the phone. The salesman brushed it off saying, “Sometimes the photos are wrong.” When I asked for a manager, he was dismissive and said “it happens.” (See photos of the blue color shown online under the vin of the car that is actually in the lot- the vin was registered in the wrong photos) After wasting time, gas, and a full day away from work, closing my business, he convinced me to consider the black color, promising it would be the same price and under the same lease program. Turned out that this black car did not exist in the system either and it was the worst experience ever dealing with this disaster of disorganization. After sitting there for hours, the finance manager found out the black car was actually a 2026 model, not a 2025, and there were no lease programs available as promised. They ended up selling me into financing the vehicle instead of leasing — completely different from what I had agreed to over the phone, knowing the hassle it took me to drive here, and close my business, and desperately I returned to the dealership multiple times over the next few days to try to resolve the issue, but they refused to help get into another car in a lease for the same price range I wanted or to simply just take the car back. Overall, this was one of the worst dealership experiences I’ve ever had. Misrepresentation, poor communication, and zero accountability. I would strongly recommend verifying everything in writing before doing business here.
