Riverton Chevrolet

As a business owner with approximately 50 trucks in my fleet, I can’t say enough positive things about Riverton Chevrolet. They have sold us multiple vehicles for quite some time. Additionally, their service department is the only option for us. They’re very attentive to everything and I appreciate their direct honest approach.

Would give a zero if we could. Took our fully paid off suburban in for a tune up and they crashed and totaled it during their test drive. Their only way to help us was to give us a car at market value. We had to downgrade our vehicle drastically and still had to pay out of pocket for the difference. When I asked if they were going to help us out, the manager, Cameron, said in the most condescending way “well if you crashed your own car, you wouldn’t be getting a car at market value, that’s how we are helping you.” Thing is, we didn’t crash our top of the line suburban. They did. We will never return to them due to the complete lack of compassion. Their insurance did pay us for the cars value but we had a new transmission and just paid them over 2k to do the tune up. (Of course they crashed it AFTER we paid them for the work). They said they would eat the amount we paid and put it towards our new car but that was still us having to pay towards the car.

A little story, I was fully loaded in my truck ready to head to the sand dunes to go camping for UTV Invasion. While I was on i15 my truck threw a check engine light, reduced engine power, and it wouldn't shift out of 5th gear making it so I could only go 50mph. I got off the freeway exit in Santaquin, called Riverton Chevy service, and left Lesa in service a voicemail letting her know the situation. This was at almost 5pm. She immediately jumped on it and called me back. We found out my truck had the doomed valve body. She then helped me figure out a towing situation incase I couldn't make it back. I dropped my truck off that night at the dealership after making it back home, and she as quick as she could sourced the parts, and got someone on it to fix the truck by the next day at 1pm. She also gave me frequent updates during the whole process. This SAVED my weekend trip to the sand dunes. She has gone so above and beyond what anyone else would ever do for me and has provided such amazing service. Most service advisors from other dealers you'd think would say tough luck, parts are back ordered due to it being a common issue with the 2500HD 10 speed. But Lesa wanted me to make my trip to UTV Invasion, was so kind and helpful knowing how frustrating it was for my truck to have an issue when loaded to go camping, and did everything in her power to get me back on the road. Lesa is seriously the best service advisor I have ever worked with. Even all my friends were shocked she was able to get my truck fixed that fast (and even sounded jealous). You definitely found yourself a customer for life with Lesa working there.

I love this place, Riverton chevrolet is very professional and the team is amazing. I bought a truck from them recently and it needed to go through the shop before I could take it home. The truck was used so it did have a couple issues but I am extremely grateful that they found the issues and willing to fix them before I put my family in my new truck. Jose is awesome, Jeffrey is awesome, kayden is awesome, and Matt Murphy is the best guy you will ever meet. Overall the best truck buying experience that I have ever had. Thanks guys keep up the fantastic work!!!!

Overall positive experience with these guys. Salesman weren’t super pushy and worked with me on most things to arrive at a decision and I’m stoked with the car I bought. (Used Toyota 4Runner) things that were annoying or just frustrating is them installing a 400 dollar screen protector that is passed on to the buyer. I fought on that for some time but they worked with me enough on the actual vehicle price so I caved but I hate when dealers do this and in no world is a screen protector worth 400 dollars. Last thing was the salesman that helped me was friendly and helpful during the test drive and questions about the car. The morning after the sale, I realized I left my sunglasses in the car I traded in and reached out to the salesman to grab them for me. A reasonable easy request… he said he would grab them and then I never heard from him again. I followed up multiple times over the next few days with no response. I then had to call and ask the finance manager for his help and he was able to get the glasses… So the salesman didn’t even get the glasses on my first request. Just lame and poor communication once he got his pay. I understand he’s moving on to make more money and get new clients but that just felt like an easy ask and since I was no longer his customer he couldn’t have cared less.
