Purchased a 2015 VW Golf SportWagen TDI used in February 2020 with ~30k miles on the odometer (not from Romano). Car was originally registered in Texas according to VIN records. In late 2021 I noted corrosion appearing around the front passenger door handle. I became aware that VW offered a 12 Year, Unlimited Mileage, Limited Warranty for corrosion and contacted Romano Volkswagen to see if this corrosion qualified. I brought the car in and they took pictures and in the process also identified signs of corrosion on the rear driver side and rear passenger side doors (same general location). The warranty claim was approved and I brought the car in for repairs in early 2022. Romano Volkswagen uses the neighboring Romano Mercedes as their body repair shop. The repair was completed in a timely manner, and in general I was satisfied with the experience, despite the paint color match being less than perfect. Approximately 6 months later in September of 2022, I noted that the paint was starting to bubble on the front passenger side door and then reported the corrosion to Romano Volkswagen/Mercedes in November of 2022. Romano VW/Mercedes agreed to repair the corrosion due to the fact that it appeared
