I have a 19 year old Jeep GC with a Hemi and can't part with it even though it has a rear main seal engine oil leak, a tire that just about goes flat when temps are below 40 degrees and I have to fill it up everytime I go out: it's the wheel and I tried in recent months 3x to replace, leaks coolant even after replacing the rad and hoses, transmission temp overheat warning at random. All of which are repairable and I just may. Less than two weeks ago I was thinking I should get a Jeep made in this decade prior to the new design. I test drove a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee in Flemington, NJ last weekend and though I loved that Overland model it didn't work out. It had 70K miles and I swore I smelled something burning under the hood. I looked online again and came across Route 1. They had a 2021 JGC Limited and the price was fantastic and the mileage was perfect, so I called and made an appointment for Tue afternoon. Johanna took my information and was a delight, she also held my hand when I was driving around in circles missing Business Rt 1 and driving around Trenton as I was overconfident in my decades ago trips to the Quakerbridge Mall. I even said to her, well if I miss the exit again I'm just going to call it a day. Well, she was great and patient in getting me to the showroom. Once there and relieved, BTW it is across the street from CVS just South of the Toyota dealer on Business Rt 1. Anyway, she introduced me to Vinny, who was a delight. I mean my experience at this dealership was not like having a colonoscopy, which I never had, but could only imagine. Vinny was calm, cool, and collected and we instantly felt like cousins, I mean at least I did. I wasn't sure about the Jeep b/c I was alone with no moral support, etc., but it drove nice, and when I found out that I could purchase an extended warranty that covers 7500 parts and has roadside assistance, I was thrilled, I mean, how can you go wrong if you don't mind paying the hefty price tag. Though the price of the vehicle offset much of that cost in my mind. That is when I met Mike the Finance Mgr. he was also a delight and we were reminiscing about northeast Philly. I actually had fun and it was a great experience. I didn't have to haggle and I didn't leave feeling pillaged. The best part is once I decided to purchase, they offered to deliver the Jeep to my house the next day. I live approx. 35 miles south on Rt 1 and Vinny and his associate actually delivered the Jeep! I just went out today to play with the buttons and he even filled the gas tank! Thank you very much Route 1, you made my buying experience painless and memorable. Please give these men and women your business. This transaction had my name on it. As far as the Jeep, time will tell and I'm waiting for the ice to melt to actually drive it. I'm sure the rest of the staff are delights as well. Don't forget to contact this dealership as part of your search. A loyal Route 1 service customer since purchasing my 2020 Pacifica Hybrid Limited. Typically I consult with Lori Poulsen and did so on this occasion. In general the entire service staff is excellent. On a recent occasion (May 6, 26) I stopped by for an oil change and tire rotation since oil reminder came on the day before - without realizing all service requires an appointment. Lori took the time to check their fully booked schedule and found a technician who would be able to perform the oil change sometime later in the day. Lori inspected the vehicle and noted to me that engine light was on. I mentioned it came on recently. Lori stated I will try to have it diagnosed to check the error codes but if it is an unsafe-to-drive issue, you may not get your vehicle back today. I went on my way after Lori arranged complimentary ride sharing service to my workplace. This is a very convenient service and one of many reasons I return here for service. Later that day Lori informed me there was an issue with the hybrid system and needed to remove the front bumper to exactly diagnose the issue advising the vehicle shouldn’t be driven. This was on Friday and informed the diagnose takes time to confirm. On Monday morning informed me the issue was a two way coolant valve and the part was on order and expected to arrive in about 2 days. Lori arranged for rental car since the repair was covered under the hybrid system warranty. On Wednesday Lori informed me vehicle would be ready on Friday. Friday morning at 9am received message vehicle was complete arranged a pickup time. Left rental vehicle at dealership. Closed out the service ticket and on my way. Lori maintains constant communication and updates usually via text messages through the entire process. Lori is alway a pleasure to work with and a true professional. The service experience was flawless. I highly recommend Lori and the service team. This experience is not an anomaly. Every visit here over the last 5 years has been without issue. While I did not purchase my 2020 Pacifica Hybrid 35th Anniversary Limited at Route 1 simply due to one dealership in the region had a specifically optioned out one. At that time the Pachy was difficult to find in general. I always return here for service. Highly recommend Route 1 Dodge Chrysler Jeep's service department.
