# Summary The dealership earns consistent praise for its sales and finance teams, who are described as personable, patient, and transparent in their approach without being pushy. However, one customer raised serious concerns about vehicle condition and quality control, reporting that a $45,000 vehicle was sold with undisclosed mechanical issues totaling thousands of dollars in needed repairs, including an engine code that appeared to have been cleared.
Went car shopping for my son’s college car and had a genuinely good experience. Robaid Khan was personable, helpful, and never pushy. The finance manager, Khalid J, was straightforward about the numbers and took the time to explain the pros and cons clearly. He was professional, experienced, and easy to work with. This is a refreshing change from some past dealership experiences. Buying a car is rarely “fun,” but Robaid and Khalid made the process smooth and about as painless as it could be. Five stars!!
The salesmen I worked with were very friendly and helpful, and I want to emphasize they had no responsibility for what followed. During my test drive, the check engine light came on, and I was told repairs would be done. When I returned, the light was gone, but no repairs had been made. I later found the car needed at least $3,000 in repairs, including an A/C compressor, alignment-related repairs, steering-related repairs, and suspension-related repairs. A $45,000 vehicle should reflect its price. Buyers expect it to be in clean, ready condition—not requiring an immediate $3,000 or more. It’s concerning that engine codes were cleared, potentially allowing an unsuspecting buyer to pay that exorbitant price given the undisclosed repairs. While the sales team was great, management needs to be transparent about the vehicle’s condition. Trust is key when making a major purchase. Here are photos showing the front spoiler held on with zip ties, along with service records indicating that even after the engine was replaced, the vehicle is experiencing the same issues it has now.
I had such a great experience with the team at Safford Kia Manassas that I felt compelled to leave a review. I came into this process in a tough situation — I had a Kia lease that was way over the allotted mileage and I knew I was going to get hit with a significant penalty when turning it in. On top of that, I had my heart set on getting into a Jeep. What could have been a stressful situation turned into a really positive experience because of the incredible team here. Trim, the salesperson who helped me, went above and beyond over the course of more than 30 days to help me find the right vehicle. He showed me multiple Jeeps, drove all over to locate options, and never once made me feel pressured. Several vehicles didn’t end up being the right fit, but Trim never gave up — he just kept working to find the right one for me. I also want to recognize Alfonso, who helped make the deal come together, and Khaled in finance, who was fantastic. Khaled took the time to walk through all of the numbers and was even able to secure a financing rate that beat Navy Federal Credit Union, which is usually hard to do. When we finally made the deal on Friday, the entire process was smooth, transparent, and surprisingly easy. Everyone worked hard to earn my business and keep it, and I truly appreciated the effort and professionalism. Dealerships sometimes get a bad reputation, but this team proved that a car-buying experience can actually be honest, helpful, and customer-focused. I’m really grateful for the work that Trim, Alfonso, and Khaled put in to help make this happen. If you’re looking for a dealership that genuinely works hard for their customers, I highly recommend them.
Everyone at Kia of Manassas was great. I went in already knowing what I wanted and how much I wanted to spend prepared with my own financing. They were super informative throughout the process without being overly pushy and trying to sell me additional packages that I did not want or need. I’ve purchased several vehicles, but this was my first Kia. Really pleased with my experience and love my Sorento. Sam and Ayham were great! Highly recommend!
I purchased my first Kia (2026 Kia Sorento) and I absolutely love it! I contemplated for almost a month before I purchased it! Boris, the salesperson and Khalid in finance were extremely helpful and patient with me! The entire process was informative and personable! Thank you both for the pleasant experience!
