# Summary The dealership receives consistently strong praise for salespeople who are responsive, knowledgeable, and willing to go above and beyond to meet customer needs, with particular recognition for personalized service and vehicle sourcing. However, customers report significant issues with service department responsiveness, documentation handling for out-of-state purchases, pricing transparency, and warranty support on as-is vehicle sales.

I had an outstanding experience with this dealership from start to finish. They were incredibly responsive to my request to test drive a 2026 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon X and made the entire process smooth, easy, and stress-free. The lease application process was simple and straightforward, and they worked hard to get me approved with the payment and terms I wanted. What impressed me most was their ability to locate the exact vehicle I was looking for and then go above and beyond by delivering it directly to my house with a bow on it! That personal touch made the experience even more special. As a member of the military, I especially appreciated their willingness to take care of the customer and make everything as convenient as possible. Their professionalism, communication, and commitment to customer satisfaction were truly awesome. I honestly have no complaints whatsoever. Everything exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a hassle-free vehicle buying or leasing experience.

They asked to have the opportunity to make things right if my review was less than 5 stars, so I replied to their text with this prior to posting and did not get a response. I had my mom bring my truck in for service this week, and she had a very poor experience. She got there at 9:30 and was told it would be 1.5-2 hours. At 11:30, she was told it would be another 1.5 hours so she asked to be ubered to the mall. Upon ubering to the mall, the team called her and said the truck was ready and they would call another uber to pick her up. My mom waited outside a shop for 45 mins and no uber arrived. She called the shop 5 separate times, and was sent to voicemail each time until the 5th, which she spoke to a person who transferred her to the service dept and the line went dead. At this point, she had to order her own uber. Her service rep said he went to lunch so was unable to answer the call with no apology. Furthermore, she was quoted $199 for the replacement of the windshield fluid hose. However, the bill ended up being $388, with $358.20!!! in labor costs to replace a $29.99 part! We had taken the truck here for service previously and the experience was totally different, so we felt comfortable taking it back, but we had a very poor experience this time

Last month, on January 14th, my partner and myself picked up this 2017 Subaru Crosstrek from Sandy Sansing CDJR in Foley. We drove 4 hours from central Mississippi because we knew our salesman Caleb as a good friend. The good part of this review is that Caleb was absolutely awesome. He took excellent care of us, and made the purchase a 100% totally-remote process (or so we thought, more on that later). He recognized our busy schedule and worked with us to get this done, and even had a few minor issues with the vehicle fixed before we took delivery. We could not be more satisfied with our experience with him. Over the past month, the car has been excellent too! The vehicle and Caleb are the reasons this review gets 4 stars! Now for the not so good. As I mentioned earlier, we are from MS. MS has a complicated registration process that differs from many states. In MS, when you buy a vehicle, whether that is a dealer or private party, the burden is on you as the taxpayer to register. That meaning, you are provided all of your documentation when you leave, and you go to the county tag office and register. MS law allows you 7 days do this for used vehicles before a penalty is assessed. When we bought the vehicle, we left with no documentation. No temporary tag, nothing. We had asked to take the documentation with us so we could go the next day and get our tag, and were denied. We were told that it is policy that all documents be mailed. We were assured that all of the documents we had e-signed (and had copies of in our email) would be mailed to our tag office (we provided the address) and all we had to do was go pick up our tag when they called. Considering we were charged a $1,000 documentation fee in addition to a $99 "private tag agency" fee, we assumed that this would all be handled expidiously and without any issues. It took us almost a full month to be able to register our vehicle. First, we were informed that all of our e-signed documents were invalid. This was a problem because Mississippi only accepts wet signatures, so can't really hold that against the dealer. However, we should have been told this when we were at the dealer on 1/14, not after we left. We were told that we would be mailed new documents to wet sign, and we would need to send them back to the dealer, then the dealer would mail our documents to the tag office. A minor setback. However, the documents we received were all incorrect. We had made sure numerous times during the purchase process that my partner's titling address and residential address were correct as they don't match her driver's license. The documents we received all had the incorrect address and county. We reached out to the dealer, who told us that changing the address was not possible in the software so they could email us blank documents to fill out and then mail those back to them. We filled out the documents and returned them. We were informed on 2/2 that our documents were being sent to our tag office. Reviewed the shipping label provided... and the tag office address is incorrect. Notify the dealer, the dealer has to try and file a change of address with UPS... this delays us by another few days. Finally, on 2/4, our documents were delivered to the tax office and we were called to come get our tag. You'd think this would be over! Nope! The check included by the dealer for our taxes we paid at the dealer was incorrect. We had to pay additionally at the tag office. Of course at this point, we have no choice, so we paid the additional and moved on. 21 days and $1,099 in document fees for something that could have been avoided if we were just allowed to take our documents with us on 1/14. Anyways. We love our Subaru and can't say enough good things about Caleb as a salesman. If you are from Alabama, I'm sure your experience will be fine. If you are from MS though, I'd be wary of anyone who tries to tell you that DealerDMV (the software used) is going to get you set up and on the road within the timeline that Mississippi requires of you.

We are very pleased with Steven at Sandy Sansing CDJR. He worked hard to find us the perfect car. He was very kind and extremely helpful. They have such a huge volume of cars with so many different car lots, so Steven can find you most any brand of car you want even if it’s not on their lot. He worked hard to find us the perfect car with the best deal. New car or pre-owned.. Steven found us a beautiful 2024 Genesis low mileage in perfect, like new. condition with a great price. We are very happy with our purchase and loved working with Steven and all the staff at Sandy Sansing CDJR.

Two weeks ago, I purchased a Jeep Grand Cherokee from this dealership. Unfortunately, the engine failed after only two weeks, which was extremely disappointing. I went back to the dealer immediately to explain the situation. I understand that the vehicle was sold “as-is.” However, after such a short time, I expected more support. Instead, I was told they could diagnose the vehicle, but I would have to pay of the repair costs. Having a major engine failure after just two weeks and receiving very limited assistance feels very frustrating and disappointing. I would have expected more customer service and goodwill in this situation. Thank you for taking the time to respond. As we already discussed in person, I do understand your position and I truly understand that the vehicle was sold as-is and has over 200,000 miles. I also recognize that because of its age and mileage, no guarantees can be provided. That being said, I paid $5,000 for the vehicle, and I reasonably expected it to last longer than just two weeks. A major engine failure after such a short time is very discouraging and has left me with a car that is currently not drivable. I was not necessarily expecting a completely free repair. However, I would have greatly appreciated some goodwill — for example, taking the vehicle back, or possibly offering a discount toward another vehicle if I chose to purchase from your dealership again. I understand that situations like this are difficult on both sides, but I had hoped for a solution that would have felt fair for both of us.
