Our buying experience was very friendly, professional and successful one, Being over 400 miles away and trying to buy a vehicle can be a burden sometimes but, that was not the case here. I sent them pictures of our trade, along with a video, VIN etc and the deal for the truck my wife wanted was made. We traveled up the night before and stayed over to be there for our appointment the next morning. As it would happen we drove up in the rain but the next morning the snow storm came! When we arrived Jim McNalley our salesman met us there even though it was his day off. The truck was ready cleaned, fueled up and ready to go. We had our dog with us and they were very accommodating and patient while we got her situated. The paperwork was ready everything was as represented on both sides and the transaction was completed and we were out in no time at all. The town is beautiful and with the Bronners Christmas Wonderland being right down the street you know we had to stop there. While I waited with our dog my wife shopped for a few hours and then we left for home! The truck did well on the trip home as we seen many accidents from the weather moving in! All in all a great buying experience and highly recommend their dealership and staff.

This was our second time stopping at Schaefer. The first visit was back in November when we experienced transmission trouble. Being from Chicago, we were very concerned about whether we would make it home safely, but thanks to the excellent service we received, we did. This time the issue was minor—the driver-side window had stopped working. Since we did not want to drive all the way back to Chicago with the window down, we brought the vehicle in and had the entire door panel repaired. The staff was very friendly, professional, and efficient. They fixed our vehicle in only 15 minutes. We truly appreciated the fast service and courteous treatment. Great service and a very friendly team. Highly recommended!

This is the oldest dealship in the area. My experience when my vehicle broke down wasn't a very pleasant experience at the dealership. They try to send me to another dealership for service. My check engine light was flashing and my vehicle was misfiring. I wasn't going to drive it 45 miles to the dealership in Grand Blanc Michigan for service. My vehicle only had 200 miles on it at the time. They informed me I didn't purchase the right fuel. I explained to them this was the fuel that came with my truck. I had 300 miles to empty. They kept telling me that Top Tier Premium Fuel wasn't used... They had my vehicle for 14 days on their lot and only ran a computer check stating all cylinders are misfiring. The fuel will need to be drained out. I ask them how much longer before they could figure out the issue. I was never offered a loaner vehicle and another 20 days before anyone could fix the problem. I was so disappointed with the service department and how they responded to my question on when they could get to my vehicle to fix it. I originally want to purchase a vehicle from this dealership but was sent to Al Serra in Grand Blanc where I bought it from. They refused to deal or service my vehicle at this location since I didn't purchase from them. Not that I tried to I spoke to a salesperson about it. So then. Craig came up to me regarding my vehicle and more less told me if I didn't buy it from them they didn't want to service my vehicle. As if I has a choice my check engine light was on and it was misfiring. His reaction was if we serviced everyone vehicle from different dealership we couldn't service our regular customer. According to customer relations department they told me to the near dealership for service and don't drive it... So as a Stellantis Dealership and being the oldest dealership in the area I wouldn't recommend doing business here. Plus their management wasn't providing very helpful service for their brands of vehicles at this location. Since the mechanics couldn't figure out a hose wasn't attached in the beginning so that's what was causing my issue and maybe they need to be retrained.

I was in a bind and needed the ecu flashed on my vehicle to get home with trailer lights working. The staff was very helpful and were able to get me in within 20 minutes with no appointment. Couldn’t recommend the service more!
