I’d been searching for an EV and had my sights set on the Chevrolet Equinox EV. Being in Portland, Oregon, I quickly realized inventory was scarce within a 100-mile radius. So, I expanded my search nationwide and began reaching out to dealerships. The first five I contacted turned into classic bait-and-switch situations — they wouldn’t honor the sticker price listed online or the advertised rebates. Then I connected with McKinley at Schwieters, and the experience completely changed. He responded quickly with a bill of sale that matched exactly what was promised — no tricks, no hidden conditions. In fact, when it turned out that my original car allocation had an upgrade my order didn’t include, they swapped it for another all-wheel-drive model with the same specs and even lowered the price by $450. Honestly, I never would have noticed the difference, and they could have easily glossed over it — but they didn’t. The car was shipped from Minnesota to Oregon, and throughout the process McKinley stayed communicative and transparent. I received my car today, and I couldn’t be happier.
