# Summary Customers consistently praise the sales team for their knowledgeable, friendly, and pressure-free approach, with several reviewers highlighting positive experiences with specific salespeople and smooth purchasing processes. However, the service department has received criticism for misdiagnosing vehicle issues, recommending unnecessary repairs, and failing to address customer concerns thoroughly or professionally.

We had a great experience buying our new GMC truck thanks to Loren. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and very easy to work with throughout the whole process. Loren took the time to answer all of our questions and made sure we felt comfortable with our decision. He made the buying experience smooth and stress-free. We really appreciated his help and would happily recommend Loren to anyone looking for a new vehicle.

Our sales person Grant Murray was extremely knowledgeable about EVs, their features and capabilities. He readily was able to answer all our questions as well as providing additional information about the vehicle that we had not even thought to ask. Unlike a stereotypical car sales person, Grant was not pushy at all, it was more like friends sitting down and having a discussion about cars. Brittany in the finance department was very easy to deal with as well. Friendly, knowledgeable; she was able to get our paperwork done quickly and efficiently. We absolutely love driving our Cadillac Lyriq

We had an excellent experience working with Jim Ayer. From start to finish, he was professional, honest, and genuinely focused on helping us find the right vehicle rather than simply making a sale. He went above and beyond to advocate for us throughout the process, answered our questions thoroughly, and made sure we felt comfortable with every decision. What stood out most was his integrity and straightforward approach, and there was never any pressure or sales gimmicks. We truly appreciated his dedication and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a positive car-buying experience. If you’re interested in GM products, Jim is very knowledgeable about the different models and I would recommend going to see him.

We were hauling a trailer from Niagara Falls, Ontario to Vancouver, BC when our truck started going into reduced engine power. The culprit ended up being a chafed engine harness, and at the time we were doing everything we could on our end just to keep the truck moving and get somewhere we could have it repaired. There were points where we were climbing hills at 30 km/h in 120 km/h zones with little to no shoulder, so it definitely wasn’t an ideal situation. We spent a lot of time trying to find help, reaching out to multiple “24/7” mobile mechanics, but none of them came through. Looking back, our first call should have been to the dealership!!! When we arrived in Calgary, the service team got us in as quickly as they could, within about 30 minutes. They listened to everything we had experienced on the road, confirmed the issue, and worked hard to get us back up and running. They even stayed late to help us out, knowing we still had roughly 3,600 km left before we got home. When you’ve been fighting truck problems across multiple provinces and are on a tight timeline, that level of service means a lot. Everyone who helped us out was super professional, helpful, and genuinely seemed to care about getting us safely back on the road. A HUGE thank you to the entire team. After everything we went through on that trip, the service we received here was a MASSIVE relief, and we truly appreciate the effort that went into getting us home!!!

I brought my 2016 GMC 3500 in for service, and described two specific problems in detail. 1) a faulty wiring harness in the door, symptoms being a door-ajar message when the door is closed, and the driver door window switch not working properly. I informed the Service Advisor that both problems began occurring at exactly the same time, and that I had already traced the problem to the door wiring harness. I requested a price to resolve the issue. I was informed that they would to independently diagnose the problem for a standard service fee and that I would be given a quote to resolve the issue once this was done. The second issue they were requested to resolve was 2) a misfire on the number 8 cylinder that only occurred at idle and, more specifically, only as-and-when the truck was at idle for an extended duration (ie: warming up in cold weather). I informed them that this problem had occurred previously but had gone away after resetting the ECU, but was now recurring and had resulted in an issue with the catalytic converter due to the non-combusted fuel at idle. I was again told that a standard diagnostic fee would be required to diagnose the problem and that they would get back to me with a quote to resolve the issue. A day later I was called and told that I needed to replace the door latch and catalytic converter system entirely. When I asked whether or not they had looked at the wiring harness in the door, they acted like it was the first time it was brought up and as if it was a totally separate issue. They requested a separate fee to diagnose it in spite of the fact that it was what I had specifically asked them to look at. After much complaining they relented and agreed to look at the wiring harness - primary because (no surprise) they couldn't roll the driver window back up without resolving the issue. They did not have a diagnosis for the misfire at idle, hadn't looked at it, and effectively gaslit me by requesting an abhorrently exorbitant fee to replace the system without actually resolving the issue that caused it. I begrudgingly picked up the vehicle, paid for the "diagnostic fee" in spite of what seemed like little to no diagnostics being performed, and took the truck home. I removed and replaced the wiring harness myself. The process took approximately 45 minutes. There was nothing wrong with the door latch - as I suspected, the issue with the door latch was also caused by the faulty harness. Had I listened to their "technician" I'd have spent nearly $1k to resolve a problem that didn't exist and which wouldn't have resolved the issue I brought the truck in for. I have received no response to the complaint about the misleading and un-requested diagnosis for the catalytic converters, no any response to what is causing the misfire at idle. The mechanics described the idle issue as a symptom of the catalytic converters being plugged tells me that they don't even have a basic grasp of how the system works. Had I blindly listened, I'd have spent nearly $5k on an ineffective solution to a downstream symptom without resolving the issue. As if that isn't enough, when I picked the truck up I was disappointed to see that the rear windows were left open a crack... because it had been snowing out, the rear door on the driver and passenger side were completely covered in water as was the floor - which had frozen over night, leaving a mass of ice inside the windows and over the door panels. No apology was provided. That I happen to be a millwright and understand how to resolve problems may be part of the reason that I seem to understand problem solving better than they do, but I brought a vehicle in with the intent to save some time and frustration and instead I have left with more frustration and will end up dealing with the problems myself. I feel strongly that a person with less mechanical aptitude would be taken advantage of entirely by this service department. I cannot in good faith entertain the idea of ever having a vehicle serviced at this facility again. Be smart - take your business elsewhere!
