# Summary Customers report significantly inconsistent experiences, with some praising staff members for transparency, problem-solving, and going above and beyond to resolve issues, while others criticize poor communication, undisclosed vehicle defects, and aggressive service department tactics. The dealership's quality of service appears heavily dependent on individual staff members, with satisfaction ranging from one star to five stars based on the level of engagement and honesty experienced during the sales and service process.
Was very underwhelmed with our experience here. Went to look at a car after multiple messages and calls, knowing it was a nearly 2 hour drive away. Asked about issues with the used car and was told it was immaculate after spending more than 2 hours driving down. The traffic delayed our atrival by an hour. The salesman (Soloman) was very disconnected and acted like every question was a chore to answer. The main question was the big dent at the bottom of the front door of this certified vehicle that he initially told us could not be fixed. Some upfront clarity in advance, and a little more positive engagement at the point of sale would have gone a long way. If he (or they) did not care for our business, it would have been great for them to state that earlier. This was particularly disappointing, considering this was for my son, who was a first time buyer
Came in looking for a decent family vehicle, left with a pre-owned 2015 Ford Flex. When we arrived home, we noticed some issues with the vehicle, promptly brought it back and they went above and beyond to take care of us. From the salesman Wali and the manager Carl, the over all experience has been great. Even the finance manager was straightforward. If you're looking for a dealership that wont BS you and if you're looking for one that will do the right thing in problematic moments, these gents got you covered. Thats my experience thus far. Our family (and extended family) has used Sheehy for years now and will continue to do so. If you wanna buy through a dealership, make them your first stop. Veteran friendly, honest, and respectable.
I went in a little after closing two days ago, but turned around after seeing the hours. Jim Glasner ran out and hooked me up by asking me my needs, wants, and budget. He told me about how the appraise trade ins by sending out pictures to all the sheehy dealers, and give me the highest offer. Well it was way higher than carfax so he sent over a perfect match of what i wanted. While i didn’t end up going with that due to change of mind, he said no worry and found me another perfect car, Low miles, Low prices, and good customer service all the way around. Treated me more as a friend than a customer. With that being said, I HIGHLY recommend Jim Glasner and Sheehy Toyota Used Cars
Purchased an f150 my salesmen was wali he was super helpful and transparent. Had some small issues with the vehicle that needed to be fixed but I got in contact with the sales manger Jared Thompson and he was very helpful and quickly got my issue solved and back on the road.
Unprofessional and Deceptive – Fake Recall Appointments & Aggressive Upselling I am incredibly frustrated with my recent experience at Fredericksburg Toyota. I scheduled an appointment well in advance specifically for an safety recall. When you book a recall appointment, the bare minimum expectation is that the dealership has verified the vehicle's VIN, confirmed the necessary parts are in stock, and allocated them to your vehicle. Instead, I arrived only to be told that they didn't even have the parts ordered or available to complete the recall. This is a complete waste of a customer's time and a massive logistical headache. To make matters worse, instead of apologizing for their scheduling failure and focusing on fixing the issue, the service department immediately pivoted to a high-pressure sales pitch. They tried pushing for a list of additional, costly repairs—none of which actually need to be done. It is completely transparent what is happening here: they are using mandatory safety recalls as bait to get vehicles into the shop, only to run a generic inspection and try to scare or pressure customers into paying for unnecessary service work. I came in for a safety issue that Toyota is legally obligated to fix, and left with the issue unresolved but a massive estimate for phantom repairs. This dealership lacks basic operational organization and demonstrates zero integrity in how they treat customers. Avoid their service department unless you want your time wasted and your wallet targeted.
