I wish this was a better review but this car has given me hell. Purchased from the owner who had this vehicle for his son. Vehicle was never properly worked on, never properly cleaned under the hood and so many repairs needed but I’m was told that he needed a larger car and this (2009 BMW 328i) was for sale. When I first drove it it was okay. But not even a week later it was in the shop. This car has been worked on almost every month since I purchased and it’s only been a year…. Spent more money on the car than it’s even worth! Definitely not happy with my purchase.

Was shopping for a new SUV, called Rick and verified the one advertised on the webpage was available. I explained I had about an hour and half drive, Rick had the car ready for me to test drive, and he even stayed after closing time to allow me to get the cashiers check, and trailer to tow the car home. Rick personally helped me load the vehicle on the trailer, and had all the paper work ready to go, when I returned from the bank. Best shopping experience I've had in a long long time.. HIs prices on his vehicles are mostly all below book value, so you are sure to get a great deal, we sure did !!!!! Thanks Rick!!!!!

I was looking for a '94 Buick Roadmaster and it looked like Smart Cars had a nice example, so I called Scott and he promptly FaceTimed me to show the car being cold started and did a walk around. I made a conditional offer which was accepted. I then sent a non-refundable deposit to hold the car until I could fly from Chicago to inspect the car in person. Scott was flexible with my travel timeline and I was pleased with the car's condition after my inspection. Drove it home with no issues. I'm not a professional mechanic but have owned many older, high mileage vehicles, and have done some of my own work on them. If you don't feel confident in your ability to thoroughly assess a vehicle, ask if you can schedule to take it to a trusted mechanic or bring someone you trust to inspect it well. After working with Scott on this deal I'm confident he will accommodate reasonable requests so potential buyers feel comfortable.

Friendly owners with good inventory to choose from. My son bought his Mustang from them. Got it for a great price and have had no issues with it. Very happy with our purchase and experience at Smart Cars.
