Started my new car search on the web. Set up an appointment at Sommers and they were ready for me with a few to test drive. I loved the Subaru I drove and it didn't take long to convince me. Nothing pushy, nothing added on during the financing portion.....just a lot of "what are you looking for and what can we do to meet it." Since leaving the lot I have had 4 separate calls checking to make certain I was still satisfied and to just say thanks! I love my new Crosstrek!

Now for the machine itself. I took delivery of a brand new 2026 Subaru Outback Limited XT, and after a 200-mile road test, I am absolutely blown away. Managing a severe case of spinal stenosis means seat ergonomics are a non-negotiable health requirement for me. I recently test-drove the newest Toyotas, and their seat padding is simply too firm with aggressive shoulder bolsters that pinch nerves. The Outback is a completely different world. The multi-density memory foam touring seats allow your body to sink back naturally, aligning the spine perfectly. Stepping out after 200 miles with zero back pain is a miracle. The entry height is also mathematically perfect. Unlike my two-door Jeep Wrangler or my previous F-150 where you have to climb up and twist your torso, the Outback sits at a perfect slide-in hip height. This 2026 redesign is flawless because Subaru moved production back to their primary Yajima assembly plant in Gunma, Japan. The legendary Japanese manufacturing philosophy of Monozukuri is on full display. The door seals click shut with absolute precision, the panels are microscopically uniform, and the factory acoustic insulation makes the cabin as dead-silent as my old luxury Avalon sedan. The technology is highly advanced. Wireless Apple CarPlay integrates seamlessly into the massive vertical touchscreen. As a professional driver, I was highly impressed by the DriverFocus safety array. While many online reviewers complain about it chiming, that is simply because they are distracted drivers looking at their cell phones. With my disciplined road tracking, the system only nudged me twice in 200 miles. Furthermore, Subaru placed physical toggle buttons down on the center console, making it incredibly easy to hit the manual front-view camera switch when guiding the nose of the car cleanly into my tight garage space. Go see Troy, Adam, and Derrike at Sommer's Subaru. They have earned a customer for life.

Just purchased a 2023 Subaru Outback Limited on Saturday 4/11/26. I also got the extended warranty because a purchase like this needs a piece of mind. Joe and Rio were outstanding!! I would recommend that anyone looking for a quality vehicle go to Sommers! I am very happy. Thank you! Darlene
