Multiple reviewers cite unresolved mechanical issues, poor follow-up communication, and a lack of accountability when addressing factory defects and safety concerns.
Trent and Mark were great to work with. Trent was very knowledgable about the vehicle specifications and available inventory. Mark's offer for my trades was fair and reasonable, no endless haggling. Walked out with a beautiful Ram 1500 Laramie V8 Hemi!
Dishonest. Will blame you for factory defects & transport damage. I leased a new 2025 Grand Cherokee Altitude in March of this year. The vehicle had 25 miles in it the day I leased it. Last week, while doing a first time handwashing I discovered that paint had bubbled & chipped on the roof just above the driver's side door. I called the dealership & reported the issue. Dan Chapman called me back & invited me to bring the car in to have it looked at, and photos taken to submit a claim under the warranty. After some online research I found that this is a known factory defect with this make/model. My husband stopped by and met Dan who immediatly noted a minor scuff on the roof rail and indicated thay the damage was due to driver fault & to submit a claim to our insurance. Dan made no attempt to put an inquiry in under the warranty. I have outreached to Bill Winter, the general manager of this dealership & have recieved radio silence. I took the vehicle to 2 separate body shops for their objective opinion on the age & cause of the chopping paint & rust. Both indicated the cause is factory defect. The shops also noted other damage (denting & buckling) across the roof & agreed that that damage could not have been caused by anything besides factory defect and transport damage. I have outreached directly to Jeep who put in a claim under the warranty and am working with another Jeep dealer & certified body shop to fix the damage. Dan's assumption that the cause of the damage fault for damage which caused the paint to bubble, chip & rust,....a known flaw originating at the point of manufacturing is arrogant and dismissive. The lack of accountability and poor service is unacceptable. Do NOT use this dealership.
Got a hybrid jeep here, not even a year old. Several recalls, very unsafe (using words like fire and catastrophic). Along with the recalls, several other issues with the car (shut off on my husband as he was pulling in traffic, service 4wd, take a turn and RPMs go up to red, and countless other issues). I reached out to them now for months about this car. Was told I needed to reach out to Jeep, Jeep tells me I needed to reach out to Stellantis, Stellantis tells me to reach out to dealership. I text, I call, I get absolutely no response. Hung up on after expressing my frustration to the sales manager (after he didn’t call me back twice). I have 2 small children that I cannot put in a brand new car that has several safety issues only to be told “we can’t do anything for you” or “you’re going to lose a lot of money if we get you into a different car” I pay $400 a month and can only use half of the power source now for months (recall says I cannot plug it in- it’s a hybrid). No one wants to help, they just want your money and will ignore your calls (and hang up on you). While I understand this is a lease, the lack of compassion, communication, help, or even lending a loaner car is beyond frustrating. I feel like I have been lied to this entire time, only because they are still getting my money. They keep pointing the finger at everyone else but themselves.
Had a new remanufactured transmission installed. Failed within a month. I know it is not the dealerships direct fault, but it was one thing after another after that with the warranty and having it made right. Vegiyendes up sitting there for nearly four months. Only received updates after constantly calling and tracking information down. Asked to talk to General Manager Bill Winters more than once. Left him two voice mails and never heard from him. Issue was resolved but process was long and miserable.
South Hills Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Fiat (CDJRF) Service department was incredible. From the beginning, everyone was very helpful, professional, and informative. The appointment was scheduled, and I received text reminders of the upcoming appointment, and a direct text to Jim - who was my source of communication throughout the repair. I had a terrible ordeal with a New York CDJRF. South Hills took over; and with much patience and coordination with the poor communicating NY dealership, they were able to quickly resolve the repair. Jim kept me informed, every step of the way. I couldn't be more pleased with the excellent communication and workmanship. Thank you South Hills CDJRF!!!
