# Summary This dealership receives mixed feedback, with customers praising individual service staff members for efficiency and transparency, while consistently criticizing sales practices and overall service management. Major complaints include selling unsafe vehicles with unresolved safety issues, misleading inventory availability through repeated appointment cancellations followed by upsells, excessive diagnostic fees, lack of price transparency, and dismissive customer service when issues arise.

Do not buy a car from here, I just bought a truck and nothing but problems after problems I took it off the lot wasn't safe, had over sized tires, but when safety was done, the oversized tires were not on it. They swapped them out, did a safety. Then, put the back on. They missed the bearing that was so seized that they had to remove drive shaft they cut and heated it and still didn't come off on a SAFTY, Don't know how that that happened. Pick up on Dec 22 I've been back 7 or 8 and drove back and forth to fix safety things and they never did it they did 1 thing then I kept going back for my wheel wheels to be replaced as well as other stuff to be done. They have my truck more than I've had it. PAID 2000$ for SAFE tires. Now fighting TIRES AND RIMS and for a Heated seat that worked the date I test dove it, broken wire that had a quick fix done on it ,says it's my problem now. SOUTH BANK DODGE SELLS UN SAFE VEHICLES TO WHOEVER WILL SWIPE BANK CARD AND LEAVE YOU HANGING. We'll I had to three the 3 months as agreed finally got things done. They put a new radiator as well. Because the old one had a leak (they missed) and they put an aftermarket radiator in. and they couldn't find out what kind of fluid it was put into it. It took them, for tires, radiator, the heated, seat and engine shampoo was finally don after 21 days. THEY WERE GOING TO CHARGE ME A FEW HUNDRED dollars to find radiator leak and i was the one to show them where it was leaking from,, WARING THIS PLACE I TOTAL RIP OFF!!! After looking through my truck I noticed that my air pump and my truck reader OBD2 was missing. I would give them a negative star if I could.

Decent service that gets the job done. The problems I faced were more with the customer service aspect of it unfortunately. I came in and spoke to a couple of gentlemen about getting an oil change and was just brought in. Nothing else was questioned or required and no quote was given for the price. I was informed that “Oil Changes are going to start again in 20 minutes” despite nothing being on the floor in the garage. I waited about two hours or so for an oil change and it was mostly just the waiting that took the longest. I then come out and get told that it will be $145 after tax ($125+tax). He informs me that my check engine light was on, which I knew, but for him to simply INSPECT it, it would be $179.95 which is insane. Seeing as the vehicle was purchased from the same branch I came to do the oil change, it was just an astonishing amount to charge someone simply for inspection. Nevertheless, I said no thanks and he moved on. I then tell the gentleman that was taking payment that I wanted to use a coupon that I just found plastered on their walls and podiums. All I had to do was scan it and I’d sign up, get an email and get a few coupons, one of which was $15 off an oil change. The frustrating part is that no one told me a price and then he made a negative toned remark that I should tell him about these coupons before he prints the paperwork because then he’d have to do it again. I told him that I had just scanned and found out when I walked out, he said okay, and to give him a minute. Thankfully that was settled. In the end, the oil change was done, and when I get in the car, there’s a paper on my dash and a sticker that was fading out before it even got put on telling me about my last service and mileage. Safe to say, I’ll just be going to third parties for such services with significantly lower prices.

These folks have effectively mastered a bait-and-switch pattern, whether intentional or not. I found a specific vehicle listed online and called in advance to confirm its availability and condition. I was explicitly told it was in great condition and available. Based on that assurance, I booked an appointment, received a Google appointment confirmation, and later received a reminder on the day of the visit. Shortly before my first scheduled visit, I received an email stating the vehicle was not available and not even at the dealership. When I called, I was told it was “at auction” and would be back shortly. I was again assured the deal was real, that the vehicle would be available, and encouraged to rebook — which I did. Once again, I received a confirmation and reminder. Then, just as I was about to leave the house, I received another email stating the vehicle had been sold overnight — conveniently right before my arrival. This went on for about a week, with repeated confirmations followed by last-minute reversals. During the first cancellation, I was immediately steered toward a different vehicle at roughly twice the price, which only reinforced the concern that this was not an isolated coincidence. I was told repeatedly that this was “not a bait and switch,” yet the pattern speaks for itself: • vehicle listed and confirmed • appointment booked and reminded • last-minute unavailability • upsell to a significantly more expensive option A high-volume dealership should have better inventory controls, clearer communication, and the courtesy to stop confirming appointments for vehicles that are not actually secured or present. Based on my experience — and the number of similar reviews — I would strongly caution others to verify in writing that a vehicle is physically on the lot and held before making the trip.

Impossible to thank everyone by name, but RJ in service, the techs, and the parts team never fail to impress. Backordered part arrived sooner than expected. I received regular updates from RJ as to how the job was progressing, and they were able to accommodate performing additional work that I requested smoothly and without any unreasonable delays. And the best part, the final price was considerably less than what I had budgeted for. That is the kind of unexpected surprise I like. Thumbs way up!!!

The service manager Simon is just a crook. We brought my wife’s grand Cherokee in with air suspension issues. They told us it was the shocks but wanted an astronomical amount for the parts. So I got OEM rebuilds from RMT. This took a few months to get my hands on but paid them to install them. Couple weeks later still has service air suspension codes. Bring it back in and now they say it needs a compressor and guess who decides to try and gaslight me and tell me the compressor failing is my fault… that’s right Simon! He’s just there to get his hands on your wallet. I would recommend everyone stays very clear of him unless you want to pour thousands into repairs you don’t need! Now my wife and new baby still don’t have a reliable vehicle to drive.. very disappointed
