Spangler Subaru

We recently purchased a used 2017 Jeep Patriot from Spangler Subaru, and the experience was overall excellent. The staff was friendly and easy to work with, and their service team took care of a couple of issues we noticed during our test drive. Although delivery took about a week longer than we initially expected, we appreciated that they wanted to make sure everything was right before we took the vehicle home—and it was absolutely worth the wait. The dealership also provided generous compensation for our time and the roundtrip travel between Ohio and Johnstown, which we truly appreciated. We couldn’t be happier with our decision. I was traveling from Baltimore to Chicago when my 2015 Subaru Forester broke down near Johnstown Township, Pennsylvania. The tow truck driver brought my vehicle to Spangler Subaru for repairs. After inspecting the vehicle, the technician informed me that the CVT transmission was dry and contained metal shavings in the fluid. I was told the repair cost would be between $7,000 and $9,000. Fortunately, Mike in sales did an outstanding job accommodating me during a stressful situation. He worked diligently with me to find a solution and helped me purchase a new vehicle. The entire staff was professional, courteous, and attentive, making a difficult experience much easier to navigate. My only disappointment was the trade-in value offered for my Forester, which was $1,500. Just one day before my trip, I had invested more than $3,000 in maintenance and repairs, including over $1,200 for a new set of tires. Given those recent expenses, I had hoped for a higher valuation. Other than that, I am very pleased with my 2021 Subaru Crosstrek and grateful for the excellent customer service I received. Thank you, Spangler Subaru, for helping me get back on the road.

Jared Matson is by far the best salesperson I have ever dealt with. He is very smart, experienced and very personable. . Jared knows just about everything about the car. He answered all my questions without any hesitation. He answered my phone calls and e mails promptly. Subaru is very lucky to have him . I love my new 2026 Forester. Sport.

We had a very good experience at Spangler Subaru. Our salesman, Mike, did a great job and he wasn't pushy. Everyone in the staff was very nice and no one pushed anything on us. Mike assisted us readily with questions after the sale.
