# Summary The dealership receives praise for knowledgeable sales staff who provide excellent customer service during vehicle purchases, but its service department is frequently criticized for poor communication, lack of follow-up, disorganization, and extended repair timelines. Multiple customers report having to repeatedly chase down the service department for updates and appointments, with some experiencing missed service requests and delayed completion of work.
My husband and I purchased our first electric vehicle (Chevrolet Bolt 2027) from Felix. The whole experience from the reception to leaving with our new car was outstanding. Felix made the purchase a great experience, his knowledge and attention made the purchase very easy. Julie at the finance department was excellent and Kim took the time to explain all the features of the car to us before leaving. We are extremely happy with the service and care we received from the whole team!! We highly recommend St-Eustache Chevrolet!! 👍
My experience with this dealership’s service department was extremely disappointing from the very beginning to end. I originally booked my first appointment with them online two months ago. The day of my appointment I arrived 30 minutes early only to be told at THE DOOR that they had lost power and the service department was closed. I was told customers would be contacted to reschedule. A couple of hours later I checked online (hydro), their power was restored, yet nobody EVER called me back to reschedule. I ended up booking a second appointment online myself. During that visit, I requested an oil change, a full inspection because my car was making a strange noise, and that they check my brakes. After waiting over 3 hours, my oil change was done and I was told they identified the issue with my car. It was covered under warranty, and the parts would take about 9 days to arrive. I asked if I should schedule another appointment in advance, but the advisor assured me someone would call once the parts arrived and they would then book my appointment. I paid for my oil change and asked about my breaks and if the rest of the car was okay. I was told they would check the next visit. Two weeks passed with no call. When I followed up myself, the receptionist told me that if nobody had called, the parts probably had not arrived. After insisting it had been well over the estimated time, I was transferred to the advisor who suddenly informed me the parts had “arrived that morning.” He transferred me to another colleague to book the appointment, but I had to leave messages — multiple times — and nobody ever returned my calls. I eventually had to go online yet again and schedule my own appointment. The earliest availability was three weeks later. I even wrote in the comments asking someone to contact me because the issue had already been diagnosed weeks earlier and I didn’t want the problem getting worse. Again, nobody called. At the actual appointment....which was on a thursday morning, I was told the repair would take longer than a day and that I would receive a loaner vehicle. I also reminded the advisor that I had requested a full inspection during my previous visit but never received any feedback about the condition of my car or my brakes. He told me the rest of the car was fine and said they would check the brakes. The advisor mentioned my car would most likely be ready the next day (Friday). Friday came and went with no update. I called and left a voicemail asking for information about my car. Nobody returned my call. I was forced to keep the loaner vehicle over the weekend with absolutely no communication from the dealership. By Wednesday afternoon, after still hearing nothing, I decided to email the advisor ....since I was having no luck over the phone. That is when I was informed that my car had actually been ready since Friday. Nobody had called me. Nobody returned my voicemail. Nobody followed up. To make matters worse, when I picked up my vehicle, I discovered that my brakes had still not been checked. Despite specifically requesting this during my original oil change appointment over a month earlier. The advisor ended up checking them while I stood there waiting for my car. Completely unprofessional. The confusion at pickup was unbelievable. The advisor then asked me how I would be paying for the repair, and I had to remind him that the work was covered under warranty. He then clarified that he meant the oil change, which I also had to remind him had already been paid for over a month earlier during my first visit. Had I not been paying attention, I could easily have been charged twice. The lack of communication, organization, and professionalism from this service department is unacceptable. At every stage, I had to chase them down myself for updates and appointments. It genuinely feels like customer service is not a priority here. I will never return and would strongly recommend others think twice before bringing their vehicle here.
Fred was great every step of the way. So happy with my car! Could not be more happy with my experience! UPDATE The car was safetied in Quebec and I was told there would be no problem to get a safety in Ontario. I was shocked to hear it did not pass the safety because there were major issues with the car. Very surprised that the technicians missed these very obvious issues. I was also told I would receive the missing floor mat for the car and according to them it was shipped. Almost a month later, nothing. It is very hard getting a response from them now. Very disappointing.
Most terrible service ever. My car is already 50!!! Days at the garage and still not done for simple work. They don't work properly with insurance company and never call back. Avoid this garage! Never leasing any Chevy any more.
Extremely please with the service and professionalism of Louis Bourque . St-Eustache Chevrolet is an excellent dealership and I recommend it highly
