I had a 10:00 AM appointment at Star Toyota for an oil change and state inspection. After waiting for 2 HOURS with zero updates, I had to go to my advisor, Carlos, and ask him how my service had been going on, and surprisingly he told me that I was the "last one in" and the service has NOT been started yet and no estimated wait time could be provided. After roughly 15 more minutes waiting and I finally lost patience and decided to cancel, my car was returned to me in 5 minutes with nothing done and no apologies. I eventually took my business to another Toyota dealership in Long Island, and the difference was night and day. There, I was greeted immediately and friendly, given a clear ETA, provided with a comfortable lounge where they have TV and high-speed Wi-Fi, and received real-time text & video updates of my car service. The advisor there was proactive, respectful, and professional—everything Star Toyota failed to be. By the way, it only took 1.5 hours for them to finish my car service, with same price. I am not saying Star Toyota is the worst. I am just saying they should have valued customer's time intead of treating me like I am not important at all. I understand the workplace can get busy sometimes, but you should have notified me on time. When they just kept me waiting for 2 hours without any updates, and no apologies for not starting service within 2 hours, they clearly showed me that they don't care about my business at all.

I'm beyond impressed with my experience! The sales manager and my salesperson were absolute pros! They were so professional, patient, and knowledgeable - they answered every single question I had. This was my 4th vehicle from Star Toyota of Bayside. From the get-go, I felt like they had my best interests in mind. They took the time to understand what I was looking for and provided personalized recommendations. Their expertise and enthusiasm were infectious, making the whole process a breeze. Five stars isn't enough - I'd give them 5+ if I could!

I have leased 7 cars from Star Toyota and in the beginning I always compare them to others to find out they are competitive and prices are a lot cheaper, what got me later not to shop around and simply make a call was one of their Sales consultants Gabriel Martin a true gentleman a straight shooter and all around honest person. With my recent experience which a member of my family in desperate need of a vehicle he resolved the situation took care of her and got me a leased car which I wanted one more time at $472per month for 39 months and to compare I know my friend in CT leased same car for $700. I’m not only thankful of Mr. Martin for getting me a much cheaper price but in my busy life did all the transactions and give me the key to drive… I just said wow and my family and friends are all surprised again.

First time getting a car in NYC, on my own, no experience what so ever and I am grateful and thankful that Kenny really took care of everything and made it possible to get not one but two new cars for me and my partner. The process was smooth and he explained everything plus keep me updated on how things are going with the cars. If I had questions I could also text and get a response which I appreciate a lot. If I suddenly ever need a 3rd car, I’ll be sure to go back and find Kenny!

Went to Star with every intention of buying a new SUV today. We were handed the keys for two cars to basically look for ourselves. Sale person was not very knowledgeable about the vehicles misquoting engine and fuel mileage. We narrowed it down to two Grand Highlander trims by ourselves. Asked to test drive them and was told they wouldn't waste the mileage. The expectation that you would spend 60K on an suv without a test drive is ludicrous. I bought my Tacoma from a dealership in Jersey a few years ago and they basically forced me to drive it before I signed. Whole transaction took less than an hour. Painless. The delta in experiences is crazy. Very disappointing. Almost done with the purchase of a new Highlander from another Toyota dealership.
