# Summary The dealership has earned praise from most customers for knowledgeable and friendly staff members who provide hassle-free sales experiences and fair pricing, though one customer experienced significant service department issues including misdiagnosis, delayed warranty coverage recognition, and multiple repeat visits for unresolved vehicle problems. While sales staff receive consistent commendation for their professionalism and attentiveness, the service department's performance appears inconsistent, with one customer's experience marked by diagnostic errors and the need to independently verify warranty coverage.
Probably one of the best experiences I've ever had at a dealership. Stopped by just to look at a used truck, wasn't too sure about trading in. From the very start, I was very impressed. Moe was very attentive to what I was looking to do, he wasn't pushy and overall genuinely nice and easy to interact with. Kevin also helped out and again, respectful, professional and genuinely nice. We were able to agree on acceptable terms and I ended up getting the truck I was looking at. Overall, an outstanding experience, especially compared to the two other dealerships I had visited that day. Great job guys! If you're looking for new or used and want a comfortable, professional experience, this is definitely the place to check out.
Stevens Creek Volkswagen has an amazing selection and the pricing was very fair. The whole process was hassle free and the staff were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. I especially liked the variety of new Volkswagen cars for sale and the helpful VW service center staff. Would definitely come back.
My vehicle (new 2019/ 26k miles) has a clean history. Following a 60k-mile maintenance visit on Jan 30, the vehicle began experiencing recurring engine misfires. Between Jan 30 and May 8, the vehicle has been in for 7 visits and 46 total days out of service. The Jan. 30 60k Service start: cost over $1000. SCVW later admitted the spark plug was incorrectly gapped, causing the misfire. Each visit after SCVW gave a different diagnosis, from 50% water 50% fuel in fuel tank, fuel additive, then software update. After a failed software updates, a TAC case with VW Corporate engineers confirmed that the #3 fuel injector required replacement. The Long “Missed” Warranty: On Mar.23 SCVW initially quoted $2k+ for this repair. After I researched and cited the California 7/70k Emissions Warranty, at which point VW care and SCVW acknowledged the "missed" coverage and finally completed the repair on May 6. On May 8, within 48 hours of that repair, the vehicle was back for a 7th time due to a safety system fault (Front Assist). SCVW had to recalibrate to fix it After all these, SCVW said they will offer a 70k maintenance for free for my “inconvenience”. Tips for VW owners: 1)Always check the warranty yourself, don't rely on the dealer's quote 2) Don’t wait: File a VW Corporate complaint and a Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) case right away if you feel something is off.
Huge thanks to Ricky Ruiz at this Volkswagen dealership. My 2014 Volkswagen Jetta had an EPC warning and engine light, and my local shop told me it was likely a turbo issue and sent me to the dealer. Since my car has over 80,000 miles and is already 10 years old, I assumed there was no warranty left and expected an expensive repair. Ricky went above and beyond by checking whether the turbo might still be covered by Volkswagen. After diagnosis and approval, they replaced the turbo completely free of charge. I paid nothing, and now the car runs great again. Ricky was professional, patient, and truly helpful throughout the whole process. Excellent service!
Oh man. The man Mo here at VW look for him. Very knowledgeable about the cars and very very friendly. Overall a great guy to speak to. Now after all that. You’ll move on to the MAIN man red. All laughs, explanations were given at anytime when asked also when not going into detail on what you will be signing. Also very knowledgeable about BALL. Helped me out with a little co worker situation going on, on my side. Will be recommending my people to MO at VW and RED will get you handled after moving forward with the paperwork. Helped me get into a 2022 TAOS S with LOW miles on that thang.
