Darren is the man! I recently purchased a 95 Range Rover classic with a 3.0 TDI Engine for a weekend coffee biz but also to just enjoy daily. The condition of the vehicle was superb for being 30 years young and his post sale customer service was assuring. He ended up shipping the truck from NYC to Southern California and was very knowledgeable with all my questions. When purchasing a classic rover you need to do your research and understand that these trucks are a labor of love but Darren and Stray dogs make it easy. One day I hope to return and fully customize my classic to the 9s but until then I’ll be driving the pacific coast highway disconnected and reconnected to the analog nature of driving. Thanks again!
What could you possibly say bad about Darren?! He has brought to market amongst other things old Range Rover classics made new again. They look great, drive great and redefine the word cool! If you were ever considering purchasing a stray dogs classic built rover don’t even hesitate, make that leap. You will be happy you did!
Can’t say enough good things about Darren and SDC. Darren and I worked together on customizing a two-door RRC, and the result turned out great. Love the truck. He’s highly knowledgeable and was especially helpful post-sale with sorting out registration and navigating the quirks of a classic car, which are absolutely worth it. A great experience all around, and I’m glad to now consider him a friend.

Great experience working with Darren and Stray Dog Classics. Sourced a great Range Rover Classic from Barcelona and coordinated the back-dating, restoration, sorting and all of the shipping/import process into the US. I have put 1500 miles on the 1995/300TDI/manual and it has performed extremely well. Recently attended the Lowcountry Series in Charleston, SC and it was flawless on the 400+ mile trip.
