I previouly owned a Subaru and knew I'd want another one for my next car. I contacted Subaru Calgary late afternoon on a weekday and Ben Bruchet told me to come in as a walk in. Coincidentally when I got there Ben was the sales rep who helped me! He was friendly, funny and went out of his way to stay late to do a test drive with me. Ben and Steve Tran were able to answer all my questions and made the process of buying a car so quick and easy. They were beyond patient with me. As a first time car buyer, I was nervous & did not know what to expect. Benjamin Zimmerman made the process so easy and seamless. He listened to my criteria and met them almost instantly. Benjamin was knowledgeable and built an honest relationship with myself. He would communicate regularly as my car was getting ready for my pick up and working with him could not have been easier. He then passed me off to Steve, the financial manager, who was also so easy to talk to and provided me with so much information. Not once did I feel pressured with add-ons or upgrades. I had a pretty disappointing experience at Centaur Subaru before deciding to give Subaru Calgary a try. I originally brought my vehicle in because of an oil leak that I had been concerned about. At Centaur, I felt like my concerns were brushed off, and I was simply told to “keep an eye on it” without much explanation or any effort to show me where the leak was coming from. Communication was poor, I had to keep calling for updates, and when I picked up my vehicle I still wasn’t confident that anyone had actually addressed the issue. I ended up booking an appointment at Subaru Calgary and was assigned Raven as my Service Advisor. The difference was noticeable right away. Raven took the time to listen to everything I had experienced, explained the inspection process in detail, and kept me updated throughout the day without me having to chase anyone down. He even walked me through the technician’s findings, showed me the inspection report, and explained why the recommended repairs were important instead of just handing me a quote. What stood out most was how honest and transparent he was. There was no pressure to approve repairs immediately, and he made sure I understood what needed attention now versus what could wait. The entire experience felt organized, professional, and customer-focused. If you’re looking for a Service Advisor who communicates well, follows through on what he says, and genuinely cares about making sure you understand your vehicle, I highly recommend asking for Raven at Subaru Calgary. He completely restored my confidence in Subaru service, and I’ll definitely be returning for future maintenance.
