Subaru of Charlottetown

I absolutely love my brand new 2025 Impreza! Samreen was great (which I will gladly give a good rating/review) and we got the deal going smoothly! I was however extremely disappointed at a few things after driving from Moncton to purchase the car, first being the fact that they had me go the DMV myself to get my plate and registration only to not have the proper papers and have to go back the following day. I have worked at a dealership for 10 years and we always take care of that for our customers, local or out of town. Second was the fact the car wasn’t even properly detailed, I had to make my statement that the car should have been detailed as there were scratches everywhere, residue from PDI tape, and tape still on the interior. They originally offered to only cover $100 for the detail and after I told them there are actual scratches it sounded like they were willing to cover the full detail job until my detailer called them and they only said $100. I am sorry but a brand new car should be cleaned properly, polished, and PDI tape removed. Again our dealership would never let a car go like this and if we did we would surely own up and have a detail job done or paid for without any hesitation. Especially being out of town and willing to convert friends and family to Subaru and have them go to this dealership. I will still convert my friends and family to the best of my ability as this car as well as the Subaru brand itself has come a long way and left some great impressions so far but the issues regarding my experience of purchasing a brand new vehicle could have easily been avoided and dealt with far better.
