I have purchased multiple cars over the past few years and dealt with several dealerships. Subaru of SLO was easy to deal with and made the purchase experience painless. I purchased a used car for my son and dealt with Joe and Randy in sales. Joe was very knowledgeable about the broad selection of used inventory and answered all our questions with confidence and professionalism. He had a prior appointment and handed us over to Randy for our test drive. The high level of customer driven attentiveness continued. I never felt pressured or neglected. They both struck the right balance. After agreeing on a very good purchase price, Larry in finance got us out of the dealership the quickest I’ve ever experienced, without missing any of the necessary details. I would buy here again without reservation.

I went in to test drive a Crosstrek and ended up leasing one before I left. Zak dealt with me in a friendly, professional manner. After test driving a couple of cars, he took me through my options and we quickly agreed on the model and cost. I was never pressured by him nor the Finance Manager. The whole thing took less than 2 hours and I left there very happy. I am really enjoying my new car and would highly recommend both the brand and the dealership.

We bought a Subaru Solterra EV at the SLO dealership in August. It was the best shopping experience I've ever had with very nice down to earth salesman, Randy, and others who helped us through the buying process. Our vehicle was delivered to our home in Paso Robles the next day by the Sales Manager, Saras. This week Saras took our car to work for servicing. It was returned by him that evening fully charged and washed! What great people! What great service!

This review is long overdue. Randy sold us our Solterra in August 2024 and the process was extremely smooth thanks to his care and professionalism. We weren’t sure if we wanted a used or new vehicle when we got to the dealership (with our two-month-old in tow) and Randy showed us a few good options that would be a good fit for our family. We never felt as if he was trying to upsell or push us towards a more expensive vehicle. We even have a couple of photos of our infant daughter napping in the office as we worked out the paperwork 😂 I also wanted to leave a positive note about the service/maintenance center. The office called last week to get our Solterra on the books for a couple of recalls. I took my car in yesterday and the office folks were professional and transparent. One of the employees even cleaned off my wiper blades when he drove my car around (it was storming). I wish I got his name!

I recently bought a new Subaru from Subaru of San Luis Obispo. My journey began with booking an online appointment for a test drive in the Crosstrek I had my eyes on. My test drive with Zak was informative and free of any pressure or sales pitches. The car sold itself. Their pet-friendly dealership was tidy and had a comfortable atmosphere. The staff were all friendly and approachable. Zak was with me throughout the entire process and spent waking me through the features of my new car before sending me on my way. This was definitely one of my better car buying experiences. People and their approach really DO make a difference. I couldn’t recommend Subaru of San Luis Obispo more.
